The settings for changing the font size also do not seem to work, or at least not yet.

They're changing the font size across the entire website, not just in posts, is that right?

Take a look at:

Settings / User style settings / Post style

You can change the font size, and the feature seems to work reasonably well, but it still looks like there are a few bugs.
However, the adjustment is limited to a maximum of 20, which in my opinion is not enough.
