I never really got into MMOs because of how predatory they can be but if you want to play an MMO just play one of the Club Penguion revivals. THey are just dumb fun and make you feel like a kid again.

Back in the day i loved to play DOFUS, just loved the character desing and the biulds you could do there, and also played a shit ton of RuneScape with my brother, ah the good old days

I love DOFUS, it has unique gameplay and the art of the game is wonderful... my only problem is the subscription model it has, how abusive it is with the subject of professions and above all, the change in removing the option to customize the points in the skills.
Same!!
Played the heck out of DOFUS back in the day, but the subscription, the mass of bots and the later changes make me play less and less until i stopped completely
Not so long ago i thought of coming back, but my character and the server he was on was deleted and lost, and so my energy for going back to it

been going hard with elder scrolls online for years now!

I really enjoy Dofus. I’m a fan of turn-based, strategic games, and it’s got tons of professions to level and craft. The quests are great too, especially when you’re a bit lost.

Everquest was my first, played that for years and made some great friends. I quit when corpse recovery interfered with making it to work on time. I've dabbled in many since then, but none as seriously as EQ.

Don't play online games and I'll tell ya one important reason why. Single-player games don't die, at least not any more. Once they are out, they exist in perpetuity. You want to play a game from the 90's? So long as you have the hardware, you can do that, any time that you want. And if you have a PC, chances are you do have the hardware. With anything online though, whether you have access to it (and the form of the thing) is completely outta your hands

i used to play runescape so much when i was younger
then i grew up and started playing avns:cool:

Guild Wars 2 - it has perfect balance between solo play and in groups/clans. Bosses are fun and road to crafting legendary long but satisfying. The amount of build is super fun.

I don’t know if you’ve heard of it, but Adventure Quest Worlds, or Fashion Quest Worlds, if you prefer. All you really do is collect different outfits to show off while you’re away. You grind the game just so you can do that, not really to play it. Ironic, right? But the nostalgia keeps pulling me back in.

Only ever played The Old Republic since I'm not a big fan of online games, but love Star Wars too much to not play

It's probably WoW.

Though I always chased the high of finding a good RP scene in a MMO. I've always heard FF14 has a great one but I just can't get into their game, don't know why.

Guild Wars. I played GW2 also, but I have fonder memories from the first, especially Factions

WoW and FFXIV are the ones that are still alive and are probably worth trying out.
Blade and Soul was hella fun back in the day, but it is in a very sad state now.

I played a lot of WoW in vanilla and wotk but haven't really tried any others since I think WoW burned away whatever nubs that mmos and gacha games are made to latch on to.

There's a game for mobile known as Iruna Online. It's my go to MMORPG and still my preferred one than Genshin Impact.

Old games are just something else entirely. The experience and the journey feels appreciating and grand while new games feel boring after a 30 minute gameplay.
