have you ever considered being confrontational IRL? and How did that affect others? @GreatJ while the internet is watching, you're sharing secrets in full confidence, and those who would blackmail you would face serious prison time if you lashed back at them. Their laundry smells worse.
So... Tell me more about this fantasy of yours in DM, I hope to help you as a professional.

Bioshock (game)... "Would you kindly" IYKYK!!!! Oh man what a beautiful game

There was once an occasion where I caught someone completely off guard. A guy whom I had been interacting with in a Pen&Paper Forum jokingly said in the game thread: "I'm getting married in two weeks. Does someone want to come to the celebration?"
I said: "Sure. Just tell me the address."
He: "Haha. Sure. Adress is..."

And that was it, for the moment. Just joking, right? Until I really showed up at his wedding. It was a 300 mile drive, but worth it! His bride was less than enthusiastic that a total stranger showed up to her wedding, but he was enjoying it! And the relatives from her side all assumed I was the brother of the bridegroom since we actually look quite alike.

Well, and now I'm the godfather of their child and they are the best friends I have.

The entire ending of Metal Gear Solid Fucking 2.
I still don't get it.
I was young and totally fucking enraptured by the story. I thought I was experiencing some sublime bullshit I was too stupid to understand but smart enough to appreciate its brilliance (maybe I was right).
Then it was a fanfiction. The fucking bandanna actually gave infinite ammo as a plot point. The singing.

It changed my threshold for surprise in storytelling.

basic but avengers infinity war, still one of the craziest endings of a movie I've seen
