I find it beyond hilarious that he responds with that rape reporting is now being so high because its used to be under reported and police are forced to write it down. (honestly doubt the grooming gang victims appear in that statistics knowing the government hid it)

And then dont understand that people are just not bothering reporting (or trying to stop it because you might get put in jail yourself, you damn vigilante) on crime in general - especially in blue states - because the criminals are just being let out on the street again - with a severe risk that they seek you out for some payback. I mean its weird how supermarkets are closing their shops in the large cities, must not be the rampant theft that the police ignore... Guess crime is going down and noone has any issues really. Like the dozens wounded and killed in Chicago every weekend.

I bet the only places crime is ACTUALLY going down is in rural areas and in red states.

The problem is, I think, that current technology allows surveillance techniques that are just too attractive for any kind of government not to use.

Yes, you're correct, some people want to impose their points of view, their values to everybody else, it has been like that since the beginning of mankind, that's the primary cause of all the conflicts we have in our planet, from family quarrels to world wars. Laws are created to implement the supposed consensus of the majority, and freedom gets shorter. Now some people are trying to remove your freedom to fantasize! The only place where 'anything goes' is fantasy, fiction. They're attacking that now, they want you to limit your fictional world, your fantasy to their taste! The only thing left to do is to protest, to voice your disagreement. Will it work? I don't know, but we cannot just accept this, the removal of your freedom just to please someone else's taste as a natural thing.

Rather than deleting your comments, I am just locking the thread for now. @ketzal will be able to keep his fans updated in his games OP's if he so desires, but if this conversation moves there you will find yourselves with warnings and bans (as appropriate).
