It's a crime that Hot Sands of Antarctica and Detective Necro were abandoned.
Aside from that, no one can ever finish a goblin-protagonist game for some reason: The Last Goblin, A Goblin's Tale, The Rise of Vruk, etc.

Fort of Chains was a game I was excited to see the future updates the dev had planned, then one day it just had the abandoned tag, then after that, it got changed to completed. Apparently the dev just figured the community would add actual endings and other stories with mods but the interest just seemed to be gone.

4 games come to mind for me:
Hero's Harem Guild: supposedly the dev is STILL working on the update, it has been 7 years...
Harem Hotel: currently in development limbo
Mythic Manor: currently in development limbo
Orc Massage: this brings even more pain because I bought it on steam, supposedly the dragon girl exists and they remade the game from scratch iirc, but still it has been 3 year since last update, I've long lost hopes on this ever updating

Lilith's Throne is a good game. Even in it's current state I'd still recommend it for people who like text-games. One could argue it isn't technically abandoned, but effectively it basically is in my opinion.

One I hated to see abandoned was Early Love. Decent story and great characters. Also the Ketzal games -- SASP and ERGE.

Some of these hit hard, specially because some were kind of Dev disappeared end of story. I still hold some hope for Xenorav from Heart Problems to show back up out of nowhere, hell he was in jail at one point with no following and patreon had been banned, and dropped an update.
Juno's task was a recent read for me, but damn it was good same as summer heat. I did like Area69 but not the same level.
There may be some hope, not losing sleep over it but The Deluca family dev came back a couple of months ago, and at least is working on it.
Would add golden mean, which was recently tagged due to non communication from the dev and also New Antioch. At least from the top of my head

Early Deluca Family was great, until it got bogged down in endless dev delays. IDK the details but seemed like the dev started milking patrons, or just didn't know where to take the story.

An old one I miss is Coceter Chronicles, don't think it's been mentioned yet.
SlutED was also nice

Didnt the tyrant get an update a while back?

Either way the amount of games that get abandoned (not even just on about H games) is the exact reason why unless its fully released I wont even consider paying/donating
