Ive a tinfoil theory that incest interest is much more than what people let on. As a society, for the most part around the world its stigmatized and looked down upon. So naturally, most people either ignore and suppress those thoughts or are told they're wrong for having an interest in it. I believe if we stopped stigmatizing it, people would find that its much more common than they think it is. The same with any fetish, really. We may be beginning to be more accepting of kink culture nowdays, but sexuality and sex are still hard stigmatized in parts of the world.
