One of the worst aspects of game design in adult video games
"Ah new enemy, better die to it right now"

I always see these types of games with female protag. She loses fight, gets banged. Most of the time she likes the bang. Starts as punishment, ends as reward. Sure, that make sense.

i like them but sometimes they tend to be annoying since most games uses it as a way to stunlock

I don't play porn games that are actual games. I've never touched a side scroller game, I stopped playing RPGM years ago, and I usually stay away from open world Unity games too, If I can't play a porn game with one hand it's just not worth even looking at.

You mean like the side-scrolling adventure games where the protagonist gets knocked down? I spent a lot of idle time with those at work years ago. They can be good. Easy to cheat to make sure HP doesn't fall too low.

I don't think I have played any of these besides like the weird japanese ones, not my thing I would rather get to the point through easy grinding or a story.

They're alright. They tend to be really grindy and obnoxious at times, though. Also, they tend to be way overtuned in difficulty in order to make failure more common, but that just makes progressing to see later scenes a slog...

For linear RPG adventures, the proper way to do it is to unlock all the scenes once the final boss has been killed. Like I sure as hell wouldn't want to lose to a goblin 5 times to unlock all the different game over scenes.

For Roguelikes... If you are playing a proper roguelike, you are expecting to get absolutely shit on anyway... Honestly, if you are having trouble unlocking scenes in a roguelike, chances are, it's no proper roguelike and way too easy to beat.

Then there is the open world kind of RPGs that go absolutely scattershot with an absolutely massive number of characters that cover all kinds of kinks and personalities. Great examples would be CoC and TiTS. In those games, it really doesn't matter much if a scene is locked behind a defeat/game over. If that particular enemy is your kink, you might want to try out the game over scene, but for many enemies, you would just go on without ever trying out all the different scenes for that particular character.

I have to accept, that's how the dev decided, what can be done and also a free game and I'm sure my opinion is not valid, if I were a VIP there I would have complained
