discussion What are your opinions on games made with real porn?

I've seen some. Not a fan. I feel like the story gets too limited based on the clips they use. It's immersion breaking and it's super clear they rarely ever fit the actual game. At that point i'd just play something else.

Personally, I'm not a fan of them, like at all. I think it's more than kind of lazy. I look at it like this, let's say I take your favorite movie, and then dub it over with complete gibberish. Did I create something, really? Sure, I guess? In the laziest fucking way possible. Yeah, you'd have to do some coding and whatever, but it's the not same. I'd rather play a game with the crappiest renders you've ever seen. Because at least the dev, they're trying, and could get better at rendering their models and whatever, with some time. How do you make real porn any better? What do you even do with it? Waste of time, and effort in my opinion. That time could be spent learning to use Daz3D or HS2 or something instead of pilfering clips or stills of real porn and making it into a "game".

I'd really like to read some opinions on this. Maybe somebody makes an argument and I see that I'm way off base here. I'm not trying to shit on any of you that like those games that use real porn. I say good for you. And I don't mean that in a sarcastic way. You do you, play the games you like.

I feel it's hard to do well. You need to really flex those writing muscles to make it so the real porn makes sense in the story, because if it doesn't, I'd rather just watch the porn without pages upon pages of horrible writing about the most boring characters imaginable between every clip.

I like them, I find that it just needs some effort and writing to make the scenes match a new context. I like games like 7 sins, back to freedom, college daze. I find they can be just as bad/good as any other porn game

Completely agree with OP, I find it more on the lazy/less creative side of game creation.
I can just go to the hub if i want to see the real porn images/vids like those in these kinds of games.

This being said, I'm not bashing anyone that enjoys these games.
To each their own.

Feels kind of lazy. Less like a game more like a curated selection of porn that I could find anyway locked behind a lot more clicks

Thats probably where my game addiction started back when they were dumb choose which position and it would go to different scenes. I havent seen any that are decent though. You could maybe make a visual novel with them but that feels expensive.

I like real porn, but games that utilize them almost ALWAYS suck. The only one I can remember truly enjoying that used real porn was Hero Corruption 2. Fun battle-fuck game.

Real porn should only be used if the game is live action, and even then, they should use the actors they hired for the porn.

There is some legit really good stuff made this way. I've not played those games in ages, but before AI art and the ease of Daz or Koikatsu real porn was kind of the main way to go: anyone else remember the Selecta-Corp games?

Personally not a fan of those games since you can't make good non-con content without it becomming too spicy.
Non-con is an important part for me and you just can't use real porn as easy as anything else.
Also it limits possibilities in my opinion.
If you use fantasy characters you can do anything to them without harming anybody and have your fun.

Got to disagree here, some of the best old stuff was made with real porn. Granted, I've not played one in ages, but that's more to do with most using Milfs or pornstars that are just not to my taste than the fact that they used real porn.
