Almost everyone said "good story". I think we all agree. But, what makes a story "good"? What are some specific things that you like to see, story wise. Not "good writing" I'll take basic writing things as a given. I'm looking for specific do's or don'ts.

I like my adult games to have an interesting and coherent story as well as a decent amount of player choice.
My top favorite game at the moment is Defending Lydia Collier, which has an interesting who done it story along with each character's individual story line and a variety of branching paths, and a decent amount of kinks that are all optional.

So, I'm curious what do you particularly look for or enjoy in adult games?

good graphics and visuals (animations etc),. ... male protagonist and male dom with good story writing and maybe some funny jokes
