Out of curiosity, what are some of the best porn strategy games? If I played any of those, I would select one of them. Otherwise, I've played quite a few porn games with engaging enough stories and relaxing atmospheres. At some point, I'm anyway not playing for the sex scenes. Eternum comes to mind.

Well, I would stick to playing The Missing Part; its story is so good that I wouldn't mind the sex (even though it has it). Its story feels so real and incredibly sad.

there was a now abandoned game Off The Record, which didn't have much sex that had a good story that could have been a full sexless story i wouls have read through, also goblin layer

There’s two that immediately come to mind for me those being Superhuman and The Last Sovereign. For Superhuman there’s so much interesting lore it’s such a cool and in depth world with a pretty unique power system leading to bad ass abilities and fights. All of that along with the characters and art is enough for me to play it even without the porn. The Last Sovereign without the porn would still be an amazing RPG with great world building, characters, awesome fights, and a very compelling story.

None tbh. Can't think off the top of my head of any NSFW game that I'd want to play just for the gameplay, let alone over other non NSFW games. There have been a few where I like the lore and world-building enough that I'd be fine with not many scenes but knowing that there are scenes and enjoying the art along with it is most of the point of playing them for me if I do choose to play any instead of normal games.

Without the sexual content i'd still play through Eternum 100%. I'd consider playing through Ripples and Leap of Faith too. Some of the stories in porn games are just better than many many movies and books. Kind off sad in a way that so many people miss them because they are porn games. But alas we can't have everything i guess

Evenicle for me. The art from Yaegashi Nan certainly helps, but the real draw was the characters and story.

Frankly, I need to look into other Alicesoft games. I tried playing Sengoku Rance ages ago, but couldn't wrap my head around the combat for some reason. Maybe I need to give it another go sometime.

I guess I would finish some of the big ongoing titles (Eternum or Ripples for example) even if the adult content was removed, but that's mostly because I've already invested so much time into them. I don't think I would've ever gotten too invested into them if they were just regular VNs.
Now the standout title that I do think would still be a gem even if all the adult content was removed would be Companion of Darkness. I can't really think of a single VN other than that one where I'm looking forward to each new update mainly because I'm curious to see how the story progresses, rather than new sex scenes being the main appeal.

Black Souls and (maybe?) LonaRPG also could work imo
