I think it'd massively benefit from having an optional 1 handed control scheme. As ya know, it's a porn game and 1 hand tends to be occupied. Maybe something like World of Warcrafts mouse controls where you hold down left and right click to move forward and move to mouse to change direction

I think its interesting a lot of unreal engine games are comming out, but i would suspect there is much more you need to do to make the games polished

While i really enjoy the normal version and appreciate that devs make what they want to make. This is a weird move, surely you would move onto something new , not a 3d remake of a game that you're still making.

It will be choppy unless you have a high end (prob 3080+) video card and/or settings turned down. Porno game = stick to Daz/Renpy.

It works fine on my 3060Ti

seems like kinda a waste of dev time to remake the first game when you've got other projects, some of which are pretty fresh, but if it ends up actually being kinda competent then that would be great, since most of the other unreal porn games are either sandbox types or they're usually some third person walking around thing

I'm thinking it's a failed experiment. Most people that are into AVNs and are aware of the original's existence settle for still renders since they don't have a $1800 4090 to play the Unreal version with more than a few fps (if it doesn't just crash on a low-end 10yo PC that most people reading AVNs have it will stilll feel like the same slideshow, only with less dialog to read per render).

This should be my next invention: something like a Fleshlight but attached to something like a robot arm that sucks and fucks your dick for you and fits under a desk, controlled with something like an Arduino or Rasberry Pi and with randomness thrown in so it's not predictable stroking like a real bj or fuck would be. Then 2 hands would be free to use a controller with Unreal porn without needing to hire a hooker or getting a gf that you don't really want when not horny.

They do have a whole bunch of new games somewhat often, usually 2-3 at a time (they are an actual studio of like 20 people

). The lion's share of their income probably comes from Steam anyway. This one was just a dumb idea someone probably pitched during a meeting and they ran with it.

too late. There was a guy who built something like this for virt a mate, basically moving a fleshlight with something akin to a robot arm. The motions being influenced by what happens on screen. He even uploaded diy build plan so anyone could make it themselves. I cannot remember what it was called since it has been a few years back. I either found it going through the virt a mate reddit thread or their wiki page.

I wouldn't call it a bad idea. If they have the manpower they should do it. Does the current state of what they have achieved in UE5 leave a lot to be desired, yes ofc, but.... they are just starting out. There will be growing pains, learning how to code in UE5 and figuring a lot of shit out. But in the end, if they end up figuring it out, we the users will all a benifit from it in the long run. The feeling I get is they are just branching out. Just like they have a separate "branch" for ntr games. A good amount of people hate ntr, a good amount of people have potatoe pcs (the same ratio applies). If they do figure it out (UE5 games), it will be quite a boon because it opens up different types of games that perhaps renpy isnt really suited for, while in the other branch still making games renpy is suited for. Win win in my eye.
