That's actually what Ketzal ("Such a Sharp Pain") did. And it ended not well...

Ketzal’s case was different: it was a criminal/legal issue in his country because of banned loli content. In this case, the ban comes from funding platforms over incest content, so it’s a commercial/payment restriction, not necessarily a criminal one.

I'm aware of that difference. But the same with him would have been making a "harmless" site for the payment and offering the real game elsewhere.
It's not that hard to find that "trick" out for Boosty, Patreon, Steam or other sites. E.g. I'm pretty sure Patreon knows of the "unofficial" icest patches, but tolerates them so far

I wouldn’t pay for the Patreon anyway, but for some sexual themes the developer would need to have a page that has nothing to do with the game. They post some random content there, and if someone wants to support them, they can contribute through that account. The pressure is increasing rapidly.

Yes, it would be done indirectly, not as direct funding for the game.
