Can think of a couple of games which has this as the start setting but I don't think they stick with it trough the entire story (SSP and Bastard are two that come to mind right now)

A time-space patrol dude that is send back in time in different eras and places to fix the history, but in the way he end fucking with several woman, screwing the timelines and now have to travel back again to figure out wich one of all the hooker he fucked is the problem

A good comedy setting indeed.

My first unconventional idea is to unironically start with a super conventional "your dad just died leaving you alone with your mom and two sisters" opening. Like, have the first day be the MC and family getting ready for the funeral. Then blow it the heck up when there's another woman and her daughters at the funeral, and the MC and his family discover his dad was a bigamist and serial cheater raising a whole other family on the side. Naturally everyone flies to pieces and the rest of the game is the MC doing his best to help pick everyone up again and maybe knock them up in the process.

Second idea is a game where you play as a rookie cop, with a Friends in Need-style "what kind of person do you want to be" theme- you can be an abusive and domineering bad cop who takes advantage of his authority to take advantage of people around him, or an earnest and compassionate good cop who legitimately works to serve his community (and still gets to see just as many scenes as the other guy).
