I don't get it. Why is a game last updated in March showing at the top of "Latest Updates"? Does anything in LU work as intended?!

Addendum: I'm guessing the addition of the multi-mod counted as an "Update", despite the "latest update" date remaining unchanged. I really don't get this system.

Addendum addendum: The aforementioned mod adds a tiny, almost-invisible "cheats" button to the right of the quick bar (which took me the longest time to find), that lets you max out the stats. However, I'd already maxed my stats but found it impossible to locate at least two in-game events despite visiting every location at every time of day on every day of the week. I ended up looking at the game files to see them, which is a shame, but realistically there's only so much spamming through endlessly repeating events I can take.

I like this game, but it either needs a questlog, a map with event markers or a gallery with clues (or an "unlock all" button).

So... a new update.

Result? The same endlessly looping "funny" text-only sequences, the same endlessly clicking random locations in the vain hope of finding anything new - or anything at all. Zero indication of progress or where to go next, where things might happen, what's still to find.

And last, but not least, a paywall. Found that. In fact, after ten minutes of holding down skip looking for either new content or the numerous scenes I was unable to find in the previous version, the paywall is the ONLY thing I found.

There are 6 different locations in this game, for each of the 3 periods in each day, for 7 days in a week. That's 168 places to look for something of any actual interest happening, split amongst three characters. So, a 3 in 168 (1.7%) chance of stumbling across something - anything - that doesn't involve a crab or yet another "wacky" seagull encounter. Woo.

None of this encourages me to push past that Patreon paywall.

I like the art, I like the setting, I like the style, I even like the writing when it's not the same "this place sucks / is haunted / is weird" gag over and over again, but making your game content impossible to find, that I like not so much.

I'm resisting the urge to just unpack the game files again to see any content, in the hope that there'll be a version of this that feels less like searching a massive empty hotel to find the one room with a wild party in it - though it might not be happening now.

A bit of a loop-de-la-loop game, awesome graphics, whether AI or hand drawn doesnt matter to me. It's just a bit endless going to room to room to advance. Nice graphics, had to say it again.
