The worst pizza I've eaten in Venice. It was made with 4 slices of processed cheese.
That day, I wished I could get a good pizza with pineapple and ham made in a stone oven.

You must have gone to a bad place. The chains suck. Around here every town has their own small place that's family owned, usually by Italian-Americans. Supposed to be the best outside Italy. Now in some countries they are really weird and eat pizza with a knife and fork...

Pineapple is not going anywhere near food. If I get like a curry with pineapples in it and I bite down on one....God I get suspicous of any bits in that curry. And the even worse thing I have had, pineapples in potato salad!

As long as there is something else on the pizza to counteract the sweetness/tang of the pineapple then I like it.

Curry with pineapple sounds off. On the other hand, I came upon it in pre-packaged sweet-and-sour sauce and it wasn't bad. It probably needs to be offset by something tangy enough.

Nothing wrong with that. Not a favorite, but I definitely eat it now and then. Kinda refreshing taste when you're tired of too fatty or salty pizza.
