discussion Thoughts on clothing changes?

My main point would be that the clothing options have to fit the story.

I do enjoy playing around with outfits but it does bug me when my outfit choice isn't reflected in the scenes.

I think it's just icing on the cake. If the game is good enough, having outfit options is definitely a nice bonus.

I love it when you can slowly make the woman wear sluttier clothes in corruption games, I think it's a big part of it tbh

Are multiple outfits and clothing choices worth it to you? Obviously it's a lot of extra work and render time so it means longer waits between updates. But does it add enough to a game that you think its worth the wait?

I like it because it adds more posibilities for content in different situations. I always loved games where you can wear different outfits and even being able to remove them in exhibitionism games. For me all of that adds a lot to the game. Yeah it's a lot of work, but if people enjoy it, why not?

It can be a fun addition to a game but when a dev has limited resources, I'd rather they focus those resources on actual content.

Clothing changes are awesome you can see a character you like in different clothes

Don't mind clothing change or no clothing change. But I will add that it does add something more to the game when you are given the choice to change the clothes during certain scenarios in the story. I honestly more care about the hair change if anything

Depending on the game - a "corruption" style game - bring it on... better yet if it occurs naturally and is a sign that you are making headway. Otherwise, in a VN, not a huge deal to me.
