Any sandbox that isn't really open world, but just having to guess/find where the next place to go is. Better to just automatically go there rather than waste time trying to find it.

Agree 100%. I love the sandbox games that usually locks me in the house and dont force me to be exploring the whole map for one little thing

Oh that reminds me - when playing a sandbox game where there is a calendar, making events that only occur in one timeslot on a specific day of the week. If I miss it then its another whole week worth of grinding before getting to the new content.

• Exaggerated or impossible postures (the almost comical 90°-bend butt-to-spine comes to mind)
• Nonchalant reactions to what should be shocking revelations: "Oh! You have a 20-girl harem including your 7 sisters? OK, I'm in!". For once, I'd love to lose a LI because of this or at least have some kind of impact on the plot going forward. Are there even any examples of negative impacts on the story?
• Hostile UX/UI: 8 clicks to go to sleep every. single. night in sandboxes when it could be done automatically? Input button when there is only one option? Unskippable scenes, titles, animations? Blocked rollbacks?

And of course:

The more VNs you play, the more overused assets you start noticing. It's actually a curse. I've started noticing overused animations as well, and it's just as annoying.
