discussion Ren'Py DAZ The Tyrant [v0.9.7] [Saddoggames]

[No_ideas]

I thought this game was abandoned. However, it's been a while since the last update, so it may be abandoned again.

[moras]

At least he left a message. Most would not say anything or just abandon it. I'll gladly wait.

[watsonjohn]

As much as I like this game to have more updates. It would be nice if the art style gets "updated".

[Storge]

The game looks great! How come I missed it for so long!

[Akiry]

is this game abandoned or not? feels like the dev ranomly appears and updates it and then dissapears again for a couple of years

[tennoskkul]

If only they had updated it, it could have been the best game ever

but

I still like it.

[billwanna]

It's been updated fairly recently, it just hasn't been updated here recently

[i_patchy]

Its ALIVE!

[AtomBomb]

That Patreon money must have ran out. Update added next to nothing considering the dev been gone for little over a year. I hate to be mean like this, but this dev drops updates that are meaningless the moment the game gets the abandoned tag, and he makes maybe 1 or 2 meaningless posts on whatever donation page he has so that they don't deactivate his status. This game has been in development since 2017 so yeah.

I wouldn't donate anything to this guy unless he actually looks like he wants to keep this project alive right now I am expecting him to disappear for another year after this update.

Despite the resurrection from the dead, I'm willing to bet a bottle of very good vodka that this project will never be completed.

[Clipper]

Well, I guess I'll have to take advantage of this new update to play it, let's see how it is... it has a mother and sisters... it's not off to a bad start

[bricome]

sounds interesting, glad its not dead

[Republican Bear]

The last two updates since it was taken off abandoned haven't had much content and it feels like low effort from the developer.

[ReptillianSyth]

I found this at a good time, thang god its revived!

i don't know if anyone is gonna take you on that bet...scalded cat is afraid of cold water!

[qu3tzal]

Recommended although you have to be ok with an incomplete story. development is glacial

[Herzmankova]

Resurrection

[MenaceR]

long time since i tried this, figured I'd give it a go again. I remember liking this very much.

[adeskerbecs95]

Isn't this game abandoned ?

[WhiteVanDaycare]

Isn't this game abandoned ?

It is abandoned yet again. In a year or two the dev will probably return for a update or two, then disappear again.
