I made this because I loved the story concept and wanted more content. I also wanted to differentiate the paths you can choose even more.
The goal of this mod is to add more story content (mainly via Dialogue and reusing original assets in new ways) for many different tastes.

The NTR content has been separated into four "Darker Paths" for this mod. Voyeur, NTR, Revenge and Sadist. It is avoidable by either keeping the MC's relationships with the girls above 5 or but turning it off either when you start the game or by turning it off later in the added cheat menu options. Additionally, many of the "Darker Paths" scenes have an option to avoid them built into the choices.

The Love/Corruption paths have been extended to help make them more robust. There are added scenes using the Love assets to create Corruption events and vise versa. These are called Twisted scenes. Additionally there are completely new scenes added from Fan-Art and my own renders.

While it may seem that the "Darker Paths" are the primary focus of the mod because their explanation is so long, I assure you that is not the case. I have added plenty of content for all sides, including Love/Corruption, so that hopefully anyone that likes something about The Tyrant already will have even more to enjoy.

I'm sure there are typos or oddly worded sentences still in the game as this mod is a constant work in progress. I hope they are not too jarring. In the end, this is just for fun. I'm not a professional. Don't hate me if it sucks! But if you do happen to enjoy it, then I'm glad.

Mod Installation:

* If you are using a fresh install for the game, run it once before installing the SAZMOD

1. Download the Mod
2. Unzip the Mod
3. Move the "SAZMOD" folder into the "game" folder for The Tyrant
4. Launch The Tyrant game
5. Start a new game
6. Profit?!?

MAC: Show Package Contents > Resources > autorun > game > SAZMOD

1. Press the [Command]+[Space] keys together
2. Type "Terminal" without quotes
3. Press [enter/return] key
4. Type "ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL )" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null" without quotes
5. Press the [enter/return] key
   1. It may prompt you saying that this is installing a command line tool. If it does, press the [enter/return] key to continue.
6. If it prompts for you to enter in a password, it is asking for your Mac's user password. Enter it in and press the [enter/return] key.
   1. Your password will not be displayed on the screen when you enter it in. That is normal. Just enter is and press the [enter/return] key.
   2. Once it has successfully installed it will say "Run 'brew help' to get started" on the screen.
7. Type "brew install webp" to install the webp codec and you're done! You can now view webp images.

Animation Pack Installation:

  2. Unzip it
  3. Place "spot1000" folder into the "SAZMOD/edited/anim" folder
     1. There is a "saz" folder in there already, so you'll know you're in the right place.
     2. You must be registered to see attachments
  4. Now you can go into your game and open the Phone Cheat Menu. You can activate the spot1000 animation pack in the lower left hand side

  This Hot Fix covers all of the issues listed previously since the 0.9.4b Beta mod release, including:
  • All previous fixes in HotFixv01, v02 and v03
  • Inventory update - Moved items to better fit Squares - updated Birth Control (again)
    • When you hover over birth control in main screen it will tell you how many you have
    • If you click on it, it tells you what it does, not that most players will need an explanation, but just in case
  • Fixed these images when you entered theses scenes, don't show Bruce or Davide if they're Dead (it will still allow you to view the scene if you want, there is a warning before entering it)

  • Fixed the order of the Kitchen reaction checks at 9am for Cassandra so the work properly again
    • Also an error present in the main code for the game that has finally been found, that makes it so you see the reactions for Cassandra's Date at 10am instead of 9am like you're supposed to. This has been fixed.
  • Updated Message Dialogue for Nicole and Alexis (And updated UI)
    • Added some some more back and forth between the MC and the girls for their texts
      • This is still just on the Love path for both girls - but there is a Love and Corruption reaction from the MC which takes has a different flavor to it
      • I want to see what Saddog does with this before expanding on this too much for now, but I have ideas on where to go from here if we don't see this system updated in the later updates on the main game
      • I also updated the UI to seem more like modern phone messages (just added transparent backgrounds really), I realize some players may like this and others may not. For now I'm going with the change as it has always bothered me and I really like it, but let me know what you think as I have had others that have not, so I'm still considering options for it.

  This Hot Fix covers all of the issues listed previously since the 0.9.4b Beta mod release, including:
  • All previous fixes in HotFixv01 and V02
  • Reply buttons in messaging system will now disappear after replying as they should (Hopefully it stays working this time)
  • Birth Control System
    • You can give the girls birth control pills from the shop to prevent them from getting pregnant.
      • This can be on a individual basis now, so you can pick and choose which girl will and won't get pregnant
    • You can have them stop taking the pills from the laptop menu in the MC's room
  • Cassandra 6pm Parents Room - The outing event triggers scene now, not second Love Date
  • Alexis first Date no longer exits in wrong place if you viewed incest porn 4 times
  • Two dialogue mismatches have been fixed in Parent's room scene 7pm corruption - Twisted options

  • Updated Message System so you can't spam the reply button to gain Love or Corruption Points
  • Added a button to the Message System for Nicole and Alexis where you can reset their messages
    • Upper right hand of their text messages screen - Click on their small picture
  • Updated the story so it's more clear that you eventually need to become a gang member to continue progressing
  • Fixed an error in new 7am Parent's Room Scene with Nicole, MC, Bruce (Missing Images)
    • They are technically there, just named incorrectly, so I am including both images named correctly this time
  • There was one error I was not able to replicate, even with really good instructions, that was the non-repeating animations if you save on, right before, or right after the animation and then roll-back to or load the save that is on the animation and it would only play once and not repeat as it should. I couldn't get that to repeat on my end, so I haven't done anything to address that issue as of yet, but I am still looking into that one.

  Well, here is our first HotFix for the 0.94b Beta. To install it you want to delete the entire "scripts" folder from the SAZMOD folder and replace it with the "scripts" folder in this zip file. That's it. I think we're looking pretty good so far. We'll see how thing progress as the days go on. Stay safe out there and have fun!

• I also added 3 new Hidden camera images for Alexis, you just need to follow the same steps, which can be found in the "What's in the Box?!" walkthrough and wait and additional day for those to appear.

Main Game Updates

• Saddog made it so certain events were cut from the game as you progress as part of the story, such as Cassandra exercising at 10am in the Living Room or meeting with Martin and Cassandra at 1pm at the Front Door, which you can use to build up points against Martin for access to a scene later. I've made it so you can access these scenes if you want, but there will be a warning before them that you will be breaking the story continuity. It's a compromise in breaking the 4th wall, but helps a little bit with story immersion I think, while still giving you access to all the scenes if you want, which the mod has always been about.
• More Custom Phone Backgrounds have been added. Including the "Cookies" request finally (you're welcome Shiva0067). I made that ages ago and kept forgetting to add it.
• I've added the option to have the girls buy their own clothing in this update. It uses the same requirements as the regular system does when buying their close normally, so for some outfits, it's just getting high enough Love or Corruption points, and others require seeing a certain scene. Once you have completed those requirements, which happen naturally though gameplay in most cases, you just need to go to the Lunch scene at 12pm and complete the scene. Those girls with complete requirements will have a scene with you where they present their new outfits. It will be based on your relationship points and if Love or Corruption points are higher. There are Love, Corruption, and Darker Paths variations. This was also a requested feature which I too though would be be pretty fun, plus you don't have to pay for the outfits in this version. So I hope some of you enjoy trying out this variation. You can chose this option from the beginning or turn it on or off in the cheat menu.
• I've added a game difficulty option, either Original Mode or SAZMod Mode. Original Mode makes points drop off like in the original game, it's more grindy. In the SAZMod mode, it takes the point changes I had made earlier, making things less grindy by letting you earn more money from the tanning salon job and lose less points at night. This option can also be chosen at the start or turned on and off from the cheat menu. (This was actually introduced in the last hotfix from the last mod version, but I cleaned it up for this version.)
• I've added more cheat menu explanations to the cheat menu guide found in the laptop menu in the MC's room. I have added some more options, so I wanted to make it easy to understand how to use all the options in the cheat menu.
• Speaking of which, I added a fetish menu for Alexis in the cheat menu. So you can choose to increase or decrease the number of times she has scene a certain type of porn in that menu.
• I've also made it like the main game and when you turn of NTR, you no longer lose relationship points.
• New "Dark" themed UI option available in the cheat menu, you can swap between the two options.
• In-Game "What's in the Box?!" Mod Walkthrough updated as well
• General Programming Improvements
• There may have been a couple content upgrades I am forgetting, I've been working on this for so long, but this should be pretty much everything.

----- 0.9.1 Official SAZMod Hot Fix v05 ----- Jan 3, 2021

This Hot Fix covers all of the issues listed previously since the 0.9.1 Official mod release, including:

• Added a difficulty option to choose between the Original Game settings or SAZMOD Game settings
  • Preview Image(s)
• The difficulty choices will make the following changes:
  • Relationship Point lost at the end of the day - Nicole
    • Original Game settings: 10 Points
    • SAZMOD settings: 5 Points
  • Relationship Points gained from gifting Chocolate
    • Original Game Settings: 5 Points
    • SAZMOD settings: 10 Points
  • Money gained from Tanning Salon job
    • Original Game settings: $20
    • SAZMOD settings: $50
• This will not make changes to the amount of money earned from the Club job added with the SAZMOD. There are also a couple scenes with some modified Love/Corruption points gained and Money values, but that are not as consistent as these other options, so I haven't currently made changes to those values to account for the difficulty choice. That may change in the future, but for now I think this works for those wanting a closer experience to the Original Game, at least in Relationship Point gain and loss as well as money gain.

I think for now I will continue to release Hot Fixes with new additions as I get them finished. I'm working on a couple more additions currently and then will pick another couple from the list. As you know progress is slow because of my available time, but I am enjoying the process of adding these things to the game as always, so I will keep on working at it. This Hot Fix covers all of the issues listed previously since the 0.9.1 Official mod release, including:

• Dialogue Update Part 2 - This update includes a bunch of dialogue and punctuation edits I had submitted to me by users that I have been reviewing and decided to add to the mod now while we're waiting for the game to update.
  
  These are mostly very minor spelling and punctuation corrections with a few minor dialogue changes as well. This is different from the the larger rewrite I have been working on. That is something that will be added after the games completion, but these edits can improve the mod right now.
  Thank you to those users that shared these edits with me. moowallcow, lazycodemonkey, and JBrowster (These are primarily those summited by JBrowster, as well as those I found on my own during this process)
  • The edits for Part 2 can be seen throughout quite a few scenes with a few thousand lines improved on.
• Fixed an issue during Nicole's Second Date options on both the Love and Corruption version where the "twisted" versions didn't register properly that you completely the Love or Corruption version they represented so they didn't unlock later scenes how they were supposed to. They will now function properly.
• Added a feature in the phone's cheat menu that unlocks after you've shown Alexis porn on the laptop which allows you to modify how many times you've shown her each type of porn.

EDIT: Oh! I also split the basement.rpy into two files because it was getting so big. That shouldn't cause any issues. It hasn't with me in any of my testing. But just in case, if your current save is during a basement event. I recommend you play through the event and then save in the MC's Room before updating the mod. Just as a precaution. It really shouldn't cause an issue either way, but it might be good to play it safe.

As we are starting a new cycle of hot fixes, I will be moving the Beta to Official patch into a spoiler tag on OP and it will be assumed that the player starting with the Official version of the 0.9.1 Mod before applying the hot fix. That means this hot fix does not have all the files the Beta to Official Patch has in it, such as the image files, but just the 'script' folder changes at this point.

• Added Hidden Camera System
  • In the 0.8.5 mod release, this is more of a teaser of the Hidden Camera system. Allowing the player to purchase hidden cameras that will be able to be hidden in various places throughout the game to see content where the MC normally wouldn’t be present. (This will likely be used to present fan-art, personal renders or the reward images Saddog releases to his Patrons in some way. Details are still being worked out.)
  • The processing for activating this system can start very early in the game and is as follows:

Accessing Hidden Camera Content

• Purchase a “Spy Camera” from the Shop app on the MC’sphone.
• Take a look at the “Spy Camera” in the Inventory app on the MC’s phone, click on it for a hint to check out the software for it.
  • This unlocks the Terminal option in the MC’s room when the player clicks on the Laptop.
• Go to the MC’s room and click on the laptop and click on the Terminal button.
• After the program initializes, the player will likely notice that no cameras were found. Clicking the the No Camera(s) Found link will give the player a hint about hiding the camera in Alexis’s room while she it preparing to go to school.
• Clicking on Close will exit the program and return the player to the MC’s room
• Plant the “Spy Camera” in Alexis’s Room in the morning. This can be done any time between 7am to Noon.
• Returning to the MC’s room and checking the software the same day the “Spy Camera” is planted, and clicking on the No New Content link, will give the player a hint about waiting a day for the camera to catch something first.
• Checking the software the next day will reward the player with a “Camera 01” link. Selecting this link will allow the player to view the new content.
  • As of the 0.8.5 Mod release there are just 3 Alexis images with some commentary from the MC, but this will expand in the next release with more content now that the basic system is implemented.

Controlling the software when viewing images:

• 5 buttons are highlighted when the player views the images of Alexis.
  • ESC
    • Exits the system and returns the player to the camera selection menu.
  • Enter
    • Proceeds with the MC’s remarks about what he is seeing.
      • There is a dialogue change if the player’s Love [] or Corruption [] points with Alexis are above 50.
  • 1, 2, 3
    • Selects the active image the MC is viewing. Select the active image first and then press Enter to see the remarks for that image.

Darker Paths Explained:

• Voyeur - The MC enjoys the things being done to the girls and frankly so do the girls, they just need to admit it to themselves.
• NTR - This and the Voyeur path are the closest to the original story. In this path, the MC hates what is happening around here, despite the girls secretly, or not so secretly, being into it. (Most like the original NTR story by Saddog)
• Revenge - In this path, the girls do not like what is being done to them. They are doing their best in a shitty situation, but often coming up short. The MC wants to help them but can't yet. But when he can, he's going to help them get back at them. Hard.
• Sadist - This path, like the Revenge path, follows the girls being forced to do things against their will. But in this path, the MC is into it and he's willing to do the same to the girls if he gets the chance.
• Due to the nature of their stories, both the Revenge and the Sadist paths have aspects of rape/blackmail/threats of violence. I just wanted to give you a heads up, just in case.

You will need to unpack and decompile your files to replace them with these ones. I was having issues with this myself. I was finally able to get it to work using UnRen1.012d (a custom version found on the UnRen1.011d thread) to unpack the .rpyc files and then using Unrpyc v1.3.2 to decompile them. This combo would let me load and save without issues.

4. Copy the 'scripts' folder from the HotFixv04.zip archive into the 'SAZMOD' folder inside of 'The Tyrant' > 'game' folder
5. This will create a new copy of the 'scripts' folder' within your active 'SAZMOD' folder
6. Copy the 'edited' folder from the HotFixv04.zip archive into the 'SAZMOD' folder inside of 'The Tyrant' > 'game' folder
7. This will merge with the 'edited' folder within your active 'SAZMOD' folder
8. If asked, overwrite any files when doing step 6.
9. Finished! Start the game and enjoy!

There will also be instructions inside the Hot Fix zip file including any special instructions
in the cases where something else is needed to install a hot fix.

* You only need to download the latest Hot Fix (listed above) as it includes all previous Hot Fixes as well
