Overview:
A virus killed every man on Earth overnight, and a single bite turns the surviving women into zombies. You're the last man alive: a factory engineer who fortified a rooftop and kept fixing things while the world ended. The survivors who find you become your tower operators, your family, and more.
The Last Tower Standing is a real tower defense game with real mechanics, built in Unity with actual 3D combat, not a VN with a minigame bolted on. Every romanceable girl IS a tower: her weapon, targeting behavior, and active ability match her personality. Intimacy is earned through battles survived together, never bought with currency.

v0.2.3
First public release V0.1.5:
- Story cap raised from wave 31 to wave 80. Chapter 2 begins: the convoy arrives and Nova (tesla coil tower, chain lightning) joins the base with her own story arc. The virus mystery starts opening up.
- 5 new story scenes fully localized in all 5 languages.
- 4 new intimate scenes: Riley, Val, Ember and Nova each get one (10 total now), all with interactive POSE / ANGLE controls over 60fps loops.
- Girl Codex: animated video portraits, 3 per girl, unlocking with Trust. Plus bios and scene tiles.
- Story screen: replay any scene you've witnessed.
- New enemies: Armored (shield + regen), Flankers (fast, outer lanes), Spitters. Bosses reaching the wall now lay siege instead of leaking.
- Combat feel: aim crosshair, freeze-shatter / burn-to-ash deaths, girl radio chatter with portraits, new wave terminal.
- Onboarding: 10-step tutorial (replayable with ?), Easy/Normal chosen at New Game.
- QoL: SKIP SCENE in VN scenes, independent music/voice/SFX volume, credits screen, supply crates land on the road.
- ~30 fixes from the playtest rounds.
First public release V0.1.5:
- Chapter 1: story waves 1–31 + endless bonus waves after the story cap
- 3 recruitable girls: Riley (machine gun), Val (shotgun), Ember (flamethrower)
- 6 intimate animated scenes (Riley ×3, Val ×2, Ember ×1)
- Trust progression system with scene unlocks at thresholds
- Free-aim MC turret, per-girl active abilities on hotbar
- 200+ perk tree, farming economy, boss fights every 10 waves
- Endless survival mode
- Easy/Normal difficulties, 4 save slots, boss-checkpoint saves
- Full localization: English, Russian, French, Spanish, Portuguese (BR)
Hey, solo dev here. My first game, Life is Vanilla (comedy adult VN), is finished and out on Steam and itch.io. For this one I wanted gameplay that stands on its own, so here's exactly what you're getting , no overselling:
How the adult content actually works:
Gameplay (all shipped, all real):
In development (0.2.0): story cap raised from wave 31 to wave 80 (Chapter 2 begins), Nova joins as a tesla coil tower and the virus mystery starts opening up, big optimization and UI polish pass.
Toward 1.0: all 10 girls, ~270 story waves across 4 main chapters, and two game modes, the regular tower defense campaign plus a possible Survivor-style mode for players who prefer more active action.
Pricing, stated plainly: the game is free throughout alpha and development, every public version is fully playable at no cost, and no scenes are ever paywalled behind currency or tiers. Patreon supporters always get each new version early; the free public release follows. The finished 1.0 will be a paid release when it ships.
How the adult content actually works:
- Trust system: each wave completed with a girl's tower standing earns +1 Trust. Scenes unlock at Trust thresholds (5/10/20/30/55). Endless mode also earns Trust, so nothing is missable and you can't get soft-locked out of content.
- Interactive animated scenes: VN intro → looping video with POSE and ANGLE buttons. Poses include clothing stages that unlock at higher Trust.
- Content in 0.1.5: 6 intimate scenes (Riley ×3, Val ×2, Ember ×1) plus choice branches. Escalation is deliberately slow-burn, early scenes are voyeuristic/teasing; the curve gets more explicit at deeper Trust in future updates. This build is early on that curve, so know that going in.
- CG gallery replays everything unlocked; "COMING SOON" markers show where a scene is unlocked but the render isn't shipped yet.
- No NTR — none present, none planned. No pregnancy or futa content.
Gameplay (all shipped, all real):
- Free-aim MC turret (crosshair, hold to fire, optional auto-fire assist) that scales with every girl perk you buy
- 4 tower slots, free sell/rebuild, experimenting costs nothing
- Unique active ability per girl on a 1–4 hotbar (Riley's ×5 fire-rate burst, Val's stun blasts, Ember's firewall...)
- You choose when to fight: press ADVANCE to summon waves; idle trickle keeps income flowing between them
- Bosses every 10 waves; elites, armored units, flankers, spitters, drones, shielded and swarm waves
- Defeat ≠ game over: fall back to the last boss checkpoint, keep perks and currency, rebuild free, push again
- 200+ perk tree with an infinite repeatable end-perk; farming economy; map physically expands at story milestones
- Endless survival mode; Easy/Normal difficulties; 4 save slots
