Life can get rather boring sometimes, and the search for simple pleasures might end up pushing us down some wild rabbit holes as we search for those pleasurable moments. Speaking of rabbit holes...

I want to understand the difficulties behind creating good games with these types of animations. Is it really that rare of a desire? Is it just money? Are there laws blocking these animations? Is there a way to get in touch with current animators and collaborate on a project together? If you have certain animators in mind, how can you propose the game world to them, and build something amazing for the world to enjoy?

I can't be the only one who wants to bring quality to this genre!?

I agree with AlBet. Maybe there is no much interest in making a high quality fully fledged furry game. Have seen some, but they are not high quality. Maybe neko paradise?

I was drawn to this thread because of that particular scale. It seemed like a mayor point on the thread, and was such an odd scale. Not 1 to 10 or 1 to 5, but 1 to 6, like an earthquake or something. Then there was nothing about the scale or its meaning

I think the reference is likely to the furry chart using Bastet from Smite that became a reddit meme. It has has 8 stages, 1 being human and 8 being an animal. That leaves 6 stages of furry-like appearance to consider. You can google it easily.

Well the 1-2 levels I imagine are fairly popular but anything higher you might have a rough time finding games with quality animations. Fur physics suck ass to animate and usually aren't super fleshed out in the most popular tools and I imagine that there aren't a lot of preexisting models to pull from and modify. But I could be wrong about that previous statement because I am not an animator.

Also, to answer OP's question, I'd imagine it's because there aren't a ton of people who are attracted to non-anthro girls like the kinds that would fall under stages 5 or 6. The only game I can think does go that far is Feline Fantasies and even in that game the scenes aren't animated.

OK, i have a couple of problems with this.
1) the chart start with a 1 that is not a full human, so "not furry" is actually a little furry
2) 6 is not furry, its just bestiality. Even 5 can count as bestiality
3) OOM

Millions of Bronies are into it. I like mangas where all-fours "animals" but that speak, wear clothes, give consent, and are part of shared culture (jobs, homes) get intimate. Animal-shaped but still people-intelligent.

I think some species right now on Earth are intelligent and we are just too stupid to notice. And I know enough Humans to be certain we are not as advanced as we assume.

Whales, dolphins, apes, cephalopods, birds use actual words, grammar, syntax. Ravens can tell human faces apart and describe particular faces to other ravens what we look like.

Whale/dolphin already so complex we have to use AI to crack translation, and there is much more complexity than we ever realize.
I feel we will be be actually talking in my lifetime to at least one other species species.

Dolphins already try to be sexy with humans. We gonna be talking soon enough, and probably fucking shortly after. Get a jump on the future, better acclimate

But even if staying more Anthro-Furry, you can make genitals and parts look less like humans-in-costumes and more like hybrids of different species.

And for me I would rather see HorsePussy in porn games than guro or scat or vore.

Using the 1-6 scale posted above, assuming 0 is 100% human. 2 is as far as i'd go.

Using this scale with 1 being human and 8 beast. Really depends on the specific character but at most 5 ..but more generally 2.
With this scale my main problem is the hands, by 3 they are animalistic ..4 visually has human hands again so i think maybe a mistake by the creator but human hands with some coloured skin/fur (like 5) is ok for me.

That said theres always exceptions.. Like Felicia form darkstalkers, aint no way im turning that down
