Has this game been abandoned?

Don't really know as updates were always every six months or a full year apart.

According to his Patron he's busy on some new Unreal engine Sci Fi game. So it's probably on-hold, and will eventually be cancelled.

Dear supporters of THD, the screenplay is finally at the point where it has moved on with the producers for their next phase of development funding.
They will probably attach a native English speaking writer to tune the dialogues. So for now, my work is done on that front.
Now for the VN: I enclose a simple, low resolution screen test / trailer where I've been playing around with your suggested cast and slowly starting to outline how I want the visuals to be.

It's low resolution (my rig is not geared for high-end at this point) and I'm still learning to use the AI tools for animations, so please be gentle
As for the platform for the game, a very annoying bug in the current release of Unreal Engine blocks the transfer of characters from Daz to Unreal. I've tried to take them by way of Blender, but the number of steps and the fact that I have to learn two new platforms instead of one has put me off for the moment.
I was hoping there would be a fairly straight path leading into THD starting to assemble on Unreal, but this has proven amazingly challenging. I haven't even bothered filming behind the scenes footage of the work, because it doesn't yield any result whatsoever.
Status mid September is:

• Script done
• Character development on hold
• Platform choice to be continued

The coming weeks will be spent banging my head against the platform issue, hopefully finding ways past the bug and into something a bit more fun.

That's too bad... but really I only like the one daughter and she had her time so I'm okay

Can't decide what's more annoying; devs using rpgmaker for VNs or using unreal to craft the shittiest never ever slop known to man

Im not subscribed to either LewdRobotics or VanillaRock on subscribestar, so I don't know the whole reasoning behind this, BUT it seems LR and VR were working on this together and LR transfered its updates to VR's subscribestar page. It is currently on their page with the most recent update being from Nov 11th 2025 as season 2, chapter 10, content update 2, in case anyone wants to grab it.

That's sad when not a single backer or even a member has shared the update.

That usually means no one is interested in playing your game.

Then again it was the holidays and many has more important things to do.
