Most developers understand and don't care but some are just assholes.

Then you have to consider their die-hard fans who blindly follow them like a mini-cult.

Just look at Karlsson's Gambit and Grym Gudinna Games for a bad example.

While I generally enjoy NLT's games and will continue to play this one to the end, I don't think it's quite as good as Treasure of Nadia or The Genesis Order. Still, overall a very enjoyable game. NLT never disappoints.
