Bravo for the developer, he's one of my top five.eventually a little guide to find your way in all these paths!!? and the top for me a French translation file to better grasp some finesses of the game .

Really enjoy this game, but the wait between updates feels insanely long for what feels like relatively little content. Especially if an update is focused on one of the paths you're not interested in playing through.

That and the reworks make it feel like the game hasn't been updated in forever.

Also no path helper for the "secret" paths.

Good to see progress on this one, but I think I'll wait for another update or two so there's enough content to be really worth diving back in.

I've played this game through three or four times over the last 18 months, each time with a different update. Although some of the renders and choices have improved over time, there seems to have been little real story development (perhaps that's just because of the choices I'm making whilst playing). I think I'll wait until there is a "Completed" tag against this VN before replaying again.

I agree. There is a lot to the game and I do believe that the complete game will be one of the best adult games out there.

Did you try different paths?
The story itself is planned to be over in seven game days, so it's not very long (a couple of endings should be already available). The real content is in MC's relationship with the girls, given your choices.

I've tried a few different paths in the past, but - with one exception - the end was always unpleasant (I won'g go into details to avoid spoilers). The not-so-unpleasant ending that happened once when I first started to play this game I could never repeat, so not sure what my choices actually were during that playthrough.

I think I know what you're talking about. I got a very unpleasant ending too.

Have you tried the path finder? That should help you achieve different paths without having to rely on a walkthrough mod (that does not exist for this update, BTW)

Running the risk of sounding dense here, but what "path finder" are you referring to? Is it part of the game DL, or a VN addon from another source?

Dont' worry, I misnamed it. It's the Lighthouse mode.

In case you missed it, it's a standard feature in the windows/linux version. You'll find it in preferences/game help.
You need to enable it, enable beacons and highlight the path of you choosing. It'll let you know if your choices are right or wrong for that path.

Thanks for the info; I have never noticed or enabled that option, despite the number of times that I've played the game. Instead of "running the risk of sounding dense", I've now conclusively proved it

It happens to best of us!

And, for anyone reading it, I talked about the Lighthouse mode as feature of the win/linux version for the simple reason that's the one I played! It should be in every version, but I'm not sure.

I even understand the fact that it has a long story and such to contextualize it, but in my opinion it takes much longer than other games with more characters to the point that I was wondering if I was making the wrong choices when playing it.

With so many possible paths to explore, obviously not every update will offer significant content to all of the possible options. The result is that some updates might seem to contain next to no content for the path(s) that you're interested in. That's the main reason I choose to wait for multiple updates before I pick it up again. Despite that, I do really love this game and I think when it's complete it might very well be one of my all time favourites.
