This is a passion project.
As a fan of games like this myself, I had been waiting for a title in this style for a long time, but it never seemed to come. So I decided to create the game I had always wanted to play myself. I sincerely hope you will feel the same way about it.
Please keep in mind that I am developing this project entirely on my own, and that this is an alpha built during only 3 weeks of vacation. At the moment, my real-life job takes up most of my days, which leaves me with limited time to polish the game further during the summer. This situation should last until the end of October. After that, I expect to have several months free to focus much more seriously on the project and work toward faster updates.
I have tried to push AI as far as current technology allows, for the images, the videos, and even the intro music. But this is not something I make quickly or carelessly. It often takes me between 10 and 30 attempts just to get a single image that truly satisfies me, and the videos can take even more work. Behind the scenes, this is a demanding and very time-consuming process.
Please also keep in mind that this is the first time I have ever built a game or worked with code. As a beginner, I do use AI assistance to help me with coding, but I created the overall structure of the game myself and organized everything in separate, clear parts so I can understand it, fix issues, and create updates as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Everything was also designed to keep the game as lightweight as possible. At the moment, it is only around 2 GB for at least about 2 hours of gameplay, although that part is also something I would really like players to tell me after playing, since your experience may vary.
I still have a lot to learn, and I still have many ideas for the future of this project. I do not want to make false promises, but if you enjoy this alpha, then the rest of the project could become something much bigger.
I am releasing this alpha because this type of project is expensive to produce. I genuinely love creating, so the time I put into it is not the problem. The real challenge is the financial cost of continuing production.
The dialogues, staging, and story are 100% written by me.
I sincerely hope you will enjoy the game.
