discussion Should there be more sci fi games of this nature?

Sci Fi doesn't get enough love

There's actually a lot of science fiction out there, but I'm guessing not in the specific brand you're looking for. You're going to need to be more specific.

Remember, science fiction is the genre if something fantastical is explained away as 'because science'.

I think it limited due to assets. Sense SCIFI need lots of SCIFI assets , you would need lots of individual assets like clothing's and Lanscape, as well as they need to look similar that it doesn't stick out. Your Fastfood place need to be Hightech, your park futuristic, and so on. You can't reuse modern assets with Scifi.

I don't know of a ton there is Ripples, and Oppai Odyssey, City of Broken Dreamers, Tales from the Unending Void, Eternum, Projekt Passion. I though those were good. Alt, Ctrl, Del not so much.

If you were aiming for high tech scifi then yeah, but the OP didn't really specify the type. Again, you can have scifi with context and content.

Sexbot is a pretty good example of scifi context. You're technically turning people into robots you control, but there is no physical appearance chance except from for some light and glow effect at times.

The Company has you developing mind and body altering drugs.

Lockdown has the MC 'suffering' from enhanced libido and they have a medicine that restricts that and he uses the antidote to go from typical teen to super chad.

Superpowered has you gaining...well..superpowers with medical treatments.

All scifi without high tech, cyberware, or space.

Love Tales from the Unending Void, Oppai Oddesey, and Eternum, but of the group, Projekt Passion has got to be one of my faves! it and Eternum especially both have top tier soundtracks, and I genuinely feel invested beyond just a quick fap.

It would be a cool sci-fi story to create a parody of Star Trek, maybe next generation. The "exploration" of unknown races and women would have a completely different approach.

SCI-FI is my favorite movie genre, so I'd like to think that I'd enjoy SCi-FI games.
