A Note About AI and Its Usage Like many people, I understand the concerns surrounding AI and its growing presence in creative media. A lot of criticism comes from projects that rely entirely on automated generation with little effort, resulting in low-quality and uninspired content. Shinobi New Era is not created that way. I am primarily a developer and storyteller who also works on visuals and artistic direction. AI is used as a tool within a much larger creative workflow — not as a replacement for creativity itself. A typical process may involve: planning scenes and dialogue manually creating or sketching concepts generating base visuals editing and refining images by hand reworking scenes multiple times integrating everything into gameplay and story systems A significant amount of work happens behind the scenes before content reaches the final game. There will naturally be imperfections, inconsistencies, or stylistic changes throughout development, especially in a project of this scale. But every update represents real time, effort, and passion invested into building this world. Without AI-assisted tools, Shinobi New Era likely would not exist in its current form. If you played the game and have genuine criticism or feedback, it is always welcome. But if you believe all AI-assisted work is inherently worthless regardless of the effort behind it, then there may simply be no common ground to reach. Technology will continue evolving, and so will the ways creators choose to tell their stories.
