  • Donation Rewards & Vault Credit System Update
A new important update has been posted covering the Donation Rewards bug, the reset of incorrect Donation and Platinum credits, the upcoming reclaim system for previous tracked donations, and the new Vault freeze/maintenance behavior. The goal is to remove bug-generated credits, protect real donation history, and rebuild the system in a cleaner and safer way going forward. - Jack Of Blades

Hey,

Let's not waste time and do as side in the title.

My recommendation for now is :

American Arcadia

A short cool game (6 hours to complete. More if you want to 100%)
I had a blast playing it. And it brings a nice twist to the usual 2d platformer that we are used to see.
Highly recommend giving it a go.

What are your recommendation.

Thanks for the recommendation!
I don't have much free time in the gaming budget, as "Dyson Sphere Program" is sucking almost all of it. I do not know if it qualifies as indie, and it's 3 years old already.
If you like Lovecraftian horror, check "The Shore", or for +18 in this site "The Cure For Madness"

A good and beautiful metroidvania that can give you a few good hours of fun

Cool space exploration/ship design game, just had its 1.0 release. Dev's been iterating on forms of the project for years (I played his first version as a kid on Kongregate) and does really good work.

This. It's basically Advance Wars.
It has a free demo too.

As always, I will promote 'Icarus'. It's a survival/builder game set on a world where the Terraforming went wrong. You have options of safe building, individual missions with completion time limits between a few hours to DAYS, or open world. It's made by Rocketworkz studio who also make 'Stationeers'.

'The Long Dark' was good, but don't know if they have finished the main story yet (haven't played in a while.

Both are on steam.

I just played a game that I want to recommend you.
A game that might not be for everyone. But one that I found very fun and original.

If you love metroidvanias, Astalon: Tears of the Earth is a must play. is not too too challenging and there's so much to explore. Also the pixel art is great

will always be one of my favorites.

Brotato. Really tightly balanced, great mechanics, doesn't overstay its welcome. Some of the most fun item builds I've seen in gaming.

the best indie game, possibly game, Disco Elysium. It's so good, i don't have enough good things to say about it and can't recommend it highly enough but it's different and more interesting than any other game i've played, that may just be due to my lack of indie games played though.

Recently saw a couple that look interesting.

'Untethered' is an early access 'zero G survival' game that looks interesting. There is limited content, but you start on a damage (1980s era) space station/ship that you need to repair and use to move around to collect resources while trying to figure out what has happened. I'm going to wait and see how this develops as there was not much available for the game yet when I watched it being played (but it looks interesting).

'The Last Plague: Blight' is a survival builder with multi-player options. This looks to have a decent amount of progress in its development, and I'm thinking of getting it soonish.

Video of each being played is available on YouTube (and Twitch) from a streamer called 'Splitsie' ('Flipsie' channel on YouTube). For the "Blight' game he is joined by a friend called 'Capac'. They do a good job testing what is possible in the games they play with fun and humor.

Hope that helps.
