this is a similar situation as I'm in. I started playing around making my own renpy game in my spare time and I've found myself bouncing between spending time working on/improving the character design, the overall story, and the scripting in renpy. I just don't have the time to dedicate to pull this to completion (at a quality level i'd want) anytime soon
