I played this a while back but I kinda got lost in how convoluted the game paths are. I tried following the text guide but its kind off annoying having to move between the guide and the game, and when i decided not to use it, I always end up in dead ends. Is there still not some form of in-game walkthrough for this game?

Man these screenshots really need to be updated, they do not do the game justice. This game is very high quality with great art, music, voice acting, a shit ton of decisions you can make for every character to determine the path you want, etc...
Definitely make use of the walkthrough though to plan ahead, otherwise you might make a decision that will come back to haunt you later. Or go in blind and try again on a second run, that's fun as well!

I gave this game a try early in its development but felt like the story was rather convoluted and just couldn’t get into it. Those of you that have played the latest version…. Has it improved?

Most definitely, as the overall story progresses every act. To shortly summarise it the first act is a prologue, acts two and three are escaping pursuit and settling a base, act four is preparing for war, and act five is settling in your new role as ruler after conquering the realm. It might feel convoluted because there are a few different factions of characters and routes you can go down, but this also gives it a fair bit of replayability. I would definitely recommend using the walkthrough to check ahead and plan out though, as you can get stuck otherwise or go down a path you don't want to.
The game doesn't go deep into characters and mostly focuses on the various fetishes, but honestly that's perfectly fine with me.

Dude, I remember seeing this game a long time ago. His main concept was very cool but the only problem I had with it was the previous art.


By the way, can anyone tell me what part of the story this version is currently in? I want to play it, but if it's close to its final version I think it would be better to wait to play the full version.

For a completionist like myself, this game was a nightmare to play to absolute completion. I like the so-called perfect playthrough and ended up playing this through 3 times for the different lairs. I do not regret it!
