Does anyone know if there's a TV show about LAFD only? I mean, you know there are two separate TV shows about Chicago PD and Chicago FD. So I'm looking for a similar thing, just that it would be a separate LAFD only TV show. I know of "9-1-1" which I'm currently watching but it's a unifying show about police, LAFD and the dispatch center, not too much focus on either one. Once I'm done with its season 6, I'll have nothing else to watch. I did search through IMDB but I couldn't find anything that is about the FD only.
Well, I have a lot of TV shows burned on discs, so I do have stuff to watch, I just want something new that I've never seen before. And I've seen all the 6 seasons of "SWAT", waiting for its 7th season, so you could say I've exhausted all LA options I could find. I was also told there was an NYFD TV show but I can't find that on IMDB either, probably it's not named what I thought it would be.
The New York Fire Department goes by FDNY. Might help your search.

There was a TV show about the FDNY called, "Rescue Me" that focused on them after 9/11/01. Dennis Leary made it a fun (often heavy) show. It is nearly 20 yrs old now though.

Edit: here ya go:

Not sure about ones set in LA, but there are a few shows with firefighters.

Station 19, it's set in Seatle.
Chicago Fire. Chicago obviously.
Rescue Me, set in New York.
Fire Country. It's set in Northern California, about convicts fighting fires.
Tacoma FD is a comedy about firefighters.
9-1-1 Lonestar is set in Texas.
LA Fire And Rescue is a reality show, following real firefighters.

The only one I've actually watched was Rescue Me and it was good. The others I've seen an episode or scene here or there, but TV drama isn't really my thing.

For as long as the first season was NOT shot before 1996, I'm OK with it being 20 yrs old. The reason for that is because around 1996 the sound quality of movies and TV shows started improving, thus I can understand every single word and I won't need subtitles. For comparison - try watching "Dead and buried", it was made in late 80's, the sound quality is horrible and if you're not born and raised in an English speaking nation, you can barely understand what they're saying.

One think I feel I should point out is that most of the outlandish / stupid people you see in the media and the dumb things they do are not typical of most Americans. Thank God. Media outlets focus on those things to drive narratives and rile us up.
