VN Ren'Py DAZ Peace of Mind: Watcher's Eye [Prologue Day 3] [Silent J Games]

Not bad for a solo developer on a budget. Also the family mystery is intriguing.

Sometimes the lighting is off, and the only negative is I wish the updates were faster.

I would have to look into it. You are the first to report any error. What OS are you on? Pc mac or android?

I try. But renders take time and this update had around 2000, including animations.
 
With the MC being stated as not a social person, I feel the 1st choice was a let down being forced to only 1 option. Why not have it where if you choose to ignore then Mel informs MC of situation and directs him there or just remove the choice completely? I'm not a fan of VN's that give false choices like that. That said, it seems to have promise to a decent story with the planned tags (harem/pregnancy). Will watch to see how this develops.
I get your point. And I love your recommendation. But that scene was made as a joke and a tribute to someone dear. Out of respect I cannot change it. But know there will be no other choice like this. All choices will be clear except some further down which will alter the story in some aspects.

Week 1 Day 4 Release Update

Hello everyone. It is with great pleasure that I can share with all of you the release schedule for the W1D4 Alpha. This update marks the mid-point development of the first week. Let's break down the numbers for this update first, followed by the numbers for the Week 1 (R1) update.

Week 1 Day 4:
Static Images = 326
Animations = 9 (Renders in animation = 909)
Total renders = 1235

Week 1 (R1):
Static Images = 992
Animations = 14 (Renders in animation = 1174)
Total renders = 2166

Let's talk percentage for the Week 1 (R1) update:
Per Scene (44 Total) Per Day (7)
Script = 86% 91%
Renders = 66% 57%
Coding = 64% 43%

Alpha W1D4 release dates per tier:
Role-Model: 3/20/26
Counselor: 3/25/26
Neighbor: 3/27/26
Faculty: 3/30/26
 
Progress Update

With the release of the Week 1 Day 4 Alpha scheduled for it's tiered supporter release, it's time to look towards the next Alpha (Week 1 Day 5). The script was completed while waiting for the final animations of the W1D4 Alpha, and I looked for, purchased, and installed some assets needed for this upcoming update, and a few for the Week 2 Alpha. Mc will need a bigger car, better to be prepared. That being said, I have started working on the renders (setting the scene/lights/characters) for the first scene of the W1D5 Alpha, which lead to me finding (and fixing) a few minor findings in some past renders. These have been swapped out and will be in the W1D5 Alpha release. In short, we're working.

Some W1D5 numbers:

Script = 100%
Scenes = 7
SFX/Music Search = 100% (Could change when coding)

I'll keep you posted. Here's a test render.
