A Special Release
This version is incredibly special to us. About a year ago, we shared that we were working on a new prologue. From the beginning, we made it clear that this wouldn’t interfere with our monthly release schedule. Over the past year, we released 10 versions while working behind the scenes to rewrite, recreate scenes, and refine the story—ensuring that the prologue reaches the depth and quality our narrative deserves.
When I decided to create Our Home, I had a clear vision: a compelling story with a well-defined path and a meaningful conclusion. However, choosing to work in 3D and become a writer was a massive challenge. I lacked both the resources and the skills to achieve high-quality results. Over time, I learned, and with the help of my wife—an incredible partner who joined me on this journey—we turned this idea into reality. None of this would have been possible without her.
The first versions of Our Home were, to say the least, modest. The renders and writing were far from exceptional. However, revamping the prologue is about more than just improving graphics. It’s an opportunity to explore character relationships in greater depth, providing a clearer, richer narrative.
We initially thought that working on the prologue in parallel wouldn’t delay our releases. However, it took much longer than expected to ensure it met the quality standards we envisioned. I always try to see the glass as half full—I know we could’ve done more, but I believe we’ve reached a level where this new prologue will set a strong foundation and keep some of the previous criticisms at bay for a while. These changes are definitive.
Old vs. New Prologue – What’s Changed?
All significant events remain intact. What we’ve done is expand and refine the way they unfold, making the story more engaging and immersive. The essence of the characters, their personalities, and their journeys remain the same—but now, they are told with greater depth.
Key Improvements in the Prologue

Complete UI Redesign
Since November, I’ve been working on a full redesign of the UI. I know changes can be frustrating for long-time players, but I can’t ignore flaws. When something feels confusing or outdated, I have to fix it.
Technical Details & Versioning
Due to the scale of changes, this version is 3.00.0 instead of 2.24.0.
We tested it extensively, and your saves should remain intact. However, if you encounter issues, use the Fix Broken Save function.

Old vs. New Prologue – What’s Changed?
- Renders: ~600 → +1,400
- Dialogues: ~100 → +1,300
- Words: ~1,000 → +24,000
- Average reading time: 20m → +1h30m
All significant events remain intact. What we’ve done is expand and refine the way they unfold, making the story more engaging and immersive. The essence of the characters, their personalities, and their journeys remain the same—but now, they are told with greater depth.
Key Improvements in the Prologue
- Amelia: Expanded on how her life connects with the other characters and how the MC leaving the orphanage deeply impacted her story.
- Jonathan & MC: We enriched their friendship, which was previously implied but not explicitly developed. Now, their bond is clearer, setting up future events. Jonathan in the present is not the same as before, and you’ll understand why as the story unfolds.
- MC & Emily: MC ’s love for Emily now has more depth. We explored the reasons behind his long-standing feelings and added special scenes and memories to give more context to their relationship. Since Emily is our main love interest (LI), it was important to clarify how deep MC ’s feelings truly run.
- MC: We expanded on his journey from leaving the orphanage to arriving in the city, adjusting the sequence of events to make them more coherent.
- Samantha & Hank: Their interactions have been improved, highlighting Samantha’s crucial role in uncovering Norah’s secrets. Some of these details were already introduced in recent versions, but now we’ve enriched past events even further.
- Juliana: The first meeting with the MC feels more natural now. There are still some minor adjustments needed, but we believe her past connections are now better integrated into the story.
- Matilda: Her introduction has been refined, as she plays a significant role in the future. She needed a stronger presence in her first appearance, subtly setting up her importance to the MC’s story.
- Other Characters: Marta, Kim, Lorena, Raphael, Bruna, Nicole, and Danielle have more detailed introductions, enriching their stories. The changes may feel less impactful since these characters don’t require major interactions early in the game. However, we ensured the rework was complete up to the point where the MC gets a haircut and new clothes—otherwise, you’d have a reworked character suddenly reverting to Lord Farquaad hair before the final cutscene.
How to Access the New Prologue - For existing players:
- The prologue will be available in the Replay Menu (both from the main menu and within a save file).
- When loading a save, a one-time prompt will appear, asking if you’d like to watch the new prologue. You’re not forced to watch it, but we highly recommend it.
- For new players:
- The new prologue will play automatically when starting a fresh game.
- Next Steps
I hope you enjoy the results. With the prologue out of the way, our focus for 2025 will be on expanding free-roam content and advancing the main story. Our goal is to complete Chapter 1 within 18 months. It’s an ambitious timeline, and that’s just for the main story—we’ll still have free-roam and side stories to develop.
Other Updates
Complete UI Redesign
Since November, I’ve been working on a full redesign of the UI. I know changes can be frustrating for long-time players, but I can’t ignore flaws. When something feels confusing or outdated, I have to fix it.

- Save & Load Menus: Returned to horizontal pagination, modernized save slots, and kept features like delete/corrupted save recovery and cloud saving.
- Preferences Menu: Now more compact without losing functionality.
- Gallery: Split into Secret Images and Replay Scenes, still organized by character.
- Help Menu: Completely redesigned for easier navigation.
- In-Game UI: Updated navigation buttons, inventory, activity menu, and phone UI.
- Higram (in-game social media):
- Now includes a personal profile section where you can view shared photos and community reactions.
- Cloud save token is now unified with Higram, allowing you to recover your photo gallery and achievements.
- New versions get priority display for recent version screenshots.
- Color Palette: Adjusted to make blacks richer for better text readability.
Technical Details & Versioning
Due to the scale of changes, this version is 3.00.0 instead of 2.24.0.
We tested it extensively, and your saves should remain intact. However, if you encounter issues, use the Fix Broken Save function.
v2.23.0
- Highlights of the new version:
- Over 550 renders, including 4 secret renders.
- Average reading time: 35 minutes
- Main event: At Norah's house, Thursday at 7 a.m. (For those playing in VN mode, the event will trigger automatically.)
- Summary: MC faces intense challenges after missing a exam deadline but finds unexpected opportunities through Norah's support. As he steps into a professional event at Aquila, a fiery encounter with Matilda adds tension and excitement to his journey of self-discovery.
V2.20.0
- Renders: ~400
- Average reading time: ~25m
Enjoy and have fun!
V2.19.2
Content Differences (2.12.1 > 2.19.2):
- Renders: ~2,370
- Dialogues: ~2,370
- Animations: 6
- Average reading time: ~3h
- GUI: The user interface has been extensively revised to provide a more pleasant and intuitive visual experience.
- Transitions: We reduced the transition time by 50% in 90% of the scenes, speeding up the experience without compromising gameplay, especially during time and location changes.
- Audio: We adjusted 90% of the sound effect volumes to make them more uniform and pleasant. The audio was adjusted directly in the game, and the original audio files remain unchanged.
- Character Screen: Restructured to make information more accessible, highlighting each character’s depth and making it easier to remember past events.
- Hints and Missions: Improved the presentation of hints, offering a clearer view of pending missions and enriching navigation in free-roam mode with daily events for deeper interaction with characters.
- Initial Settings: It is now possible to disable any internet interaction, with the caveat that this will also disable some game features. We also included the option to disable Discord Rich Presence during the game.
- Main Menu: Redesigned with a more minimalist approach and more intuitive icons.
- Save and Load Screen: Increased the number of slots per page and implemented pagination in the sidebar, maintaining visual consistency with the main menu.
- Gallery: Follows the same logic as the other menus, with a new feature: secret images are now included with scene replays, allowing more time to produce secret renderings in each version.
- Preferences Menu: Aligned with the dynamics of the other menus, and the name of the menu that translates relationships has been adjusted to be more semantic.
- Secret Photos: Now appear on the map as lost photographs and can be found anywhere on the map.
- New Feature: Save Recovery: We have added a new function to help recover progress from old saves. If you encounter an issue with your save, you can use a button displayed on the screen to attempt to recover your progress. This feature is experimental and should only be used if your save is truly broken.
Important Instructions: Do not mix files from the latest public version with the files from this version. The game has undergone several changes, and mixing these files can compromise its execution. Only copy the save files or open the game directly.
- Bug, which made the player miss a part of the event with norah.
- Bug in changing relationships

We spent a lot of time looking for new knowledge to bring you something really good, if you have more curiosities about everything that happened, I would be happy to talk privately.
Please, before complaining about anything about the game, play it and give really helpful feedback, so we can improve it, if you have any complaints about the writing, feel free to drop me a message and if to become a reviewer, I won't pay you yet, but it sure will be better if you contribute to making it better than just complaining. Please understand that I don't speak English natively, but I do my best.

- Common questions
- Does your game have NTR?
- NO.
- How tall is the MC?!
- The height of the MC is 1.85 m.
- Is the MC a beta?
- N.O. He's just a guy who just got out of the orphanage and grows up and learns things throughout the game.
- The sandbox
- See a lot of comments about the game being sandbox, so decided to write some clarification.
- The sandbox/point click is not a GRIND, it gives you access to exclusive free-roam events to explore the game further, see story details that are not available in the linear version, and can be disabled at any time from version 2.6.0 from the game onwards.
- See a lot of comments about the game being sandbox, so decided to write some clarification.
