Gotcha....different strokes. I remember hearing about a dish that was liked in Sweden, Norway or Finland. Not in Sweden.
Ah, you're talking about the dreaded fermented herring. I guess you've seen the YT vids of people trying it, well they do it all wrong eating it straight from the can like some barbarians.Gotcha....different strokes. I remember hearing about a dish that was liked in Sweden, Norway or Finland.
Can't remember for sure but it was something like burying a shark/fish/Eel then collecting it weeks or months
later and eating it.

Sweet and savory do not belong together.oi pineapple and olives are like the best combo for pizza, sweet and salty![]()
Don't like any vegetables on, except maybe black olives. Pepperoni is Italian. What here is called "Canadian Bacon" is called "ham" in Canada. Agree on mainly meat and no pineapple. Italy and Hawaii are on opposite sides of the planet for a reason. Mushrooms they put on pizza aren't normal mushrooms. They're like from athlete's foot that got so bad it actually grew mushrooms.Overwhelming majority of the time: toppings that had a mother and a face, plus extra cheese and mushrooms. I prefer traditional salume to American "pepperoni" (really never got the appeal of greasy discs of plastic), and real bacon to the cured pork loin from Canada. And you can keep your fucking pineapple!
Other allowable vegetation: black olives, red peppers, jalepenos, and if I'm feeling like a veggie style pie: artichoke, mushroom, roasted garlic, spinach, basil and a bechemel cheese sauce instead of tomato sauce - though you can put tomato on it.![]()

his grand father eating something like that. Story always stuck with me lol
Not the pepperoni used in the US. It stems from a type of chorizo (Spanish) that was perverted by pizza industrialization. Thinly sliced coppa and soppressata are much better meats. And I take it you don't know much about mushrooms, either - most places use basic white mushrooms, while some better places use baby portabellas. The white mushrooms have little intrinsic flavor, but sponge up the seasonings on the pizza.Don't like any vegetables on, except maybe black olives. Pepperoni is Italian.
