So the base of this story seems to basically be The Flash from CW without the superpowers. "Foster dad" taking the MC in is a cop called Joe with a daughter(Zoe) that MC is in love with/has a crush on. Even has the fellow cop nicknamed "Officer pretty boy" that I assume is gonna "steal" Iri-, I mean Zoe, from the MC until later in the story.
I am all for getting inspiration from other works, but come on!
