Overview:
You've been single for almost a decade and slipped into the role of workaholic. Every day was nothing more than waking up, working long hours and going home to an empty apartment. You found yourself bored with your life and decided you'd had enough. You applied all across the U.S. in hopes of finding your dream job as a park ranger. After months of looking you finally got the call. A coveted position in beautiful Colorado. You sign the offer letter and prepare to move halfway across the country to start your new life. An unexpected phone call just before leaving changes your whole outlook. And now as you head toward your new job in a little college town, you wonder what you might find. Perhaps love, mystery and danger await up 'On The Mountain Top'.
This is a visual novel from a different perspective. An older man who grew comfortable with being single and alone. But suddenly your wonderful but troubled twelve year old granddaughter is now your responsibility. Living most of her life with an alcoholic mother has seriously damaged her mental health. As her beloved 'Papa' she loves and admires you. How you react to her can help her blossom into a healthy, happy young woman. Or if you're not careful, she could fall apart possibly ending your journey before it even begins.
This game takes place in a slightly alternate version of Colorado. To protect the innocent; names of local towns, peaks, colleges, historical sites & figures, and businesses have been changed.
Your new job as a park ranger will lead to uncovering a two hundred year old mystery that brings both excitement and danger to your new home in Pleasant Peak, Colorado. A beautiful college town nestled high up in the Rocky Mountains. Find out how to prevent the past from destroying the town's uncertain future as this dangerous mystery comes to light.
Central Colorado College which specializes in Natural Science, Environmental Science, Wildlife Biology as well as Ranch and Public Land Management is a powerful draw and hosts over four thousand students which almost doubles the population of Pleasant Peak. As the local Park Ranger you will work closely with the college and the town locals, leading to opportunities where you'll meet new and exciting people. You will get to interact and date a number of intriguing women. Some are love interests and some are just flings. As your number one wingman (or in this case wingwoman) your grandaughter's well being directly affects your ability to open up possibilities with some of these women.
