Yeah, a tag like "Females only" and "Males only" would be helpful for games that only features yuri or yaoi.

Belated suggestion: A better option would be tags for available love interests- "Male LI", "Female LI", etc. That way you could pick include your preferred protagonist and exclude any games with love interests of the gender you don't want to see.

another one of my favs great art and the pov is different than most there is another game where you can choose male or female mc but not sure the name but the premise is you are babysitting for a period of time and there are 2 girls when i played through they were my nieces. the male part was coming along but they got slow on the female part. if anyone can help with the name it's appreciated

That would be pointless whenever a game offers routes for both. Then we would also need avoidable variants of both tags to see if a female protagonist can be played absolutely dickfree or hetero without forced lesbian scenes.

Wouldn't work.
If you want a pure lesbian game, with no male interactions, "Female LI" will still get you straight games, even if you also choose "Female Protagonist", because it doesn't exclude sexual interactions with males. All that this tag says is, that the game has a "Female LI", not that there are only Female LIs. For that you also have to block "Male LI", but then you also block all games with optional single gender routes.
Basically you have to choose 2 Tags and exclude 1 and aren't even getting correct results. The "xxx only" will do this with one tag.

Also what about sexual interactions from NPCs that aren't a LI? For example one shot side characters or maybe a rapist, those too wouldn't be coverd by that tag, because one could hardly call them Love Interest.

The tags "Male only (Route)" and "Female only (Route)" and maybe a "Futa only (Route)" would make sure that every sexual interaction in the game will be with that gender only.

Basically all hentai sites, like nHentai or E-Hentai, use them and they work there.

Or we just add them as "lesbian route" and "gay route" tags since "female/male only" is already a standalone genre (games without any guys or futa are female only, not only in sexual context but in general like the "sono hanabira" series for example), so a female only route tag would still confuse/disappoint those who look for such pure yuri games.
But however we would name them, the main problem are the admins, because just like at f95 they give a fuck about their users, common sense and needed things...but well, at least f95 promised to add them 2 years ago, there we are just waiting for a staff member to finally do this 5 minute job. Here we are just flat out ignored, whereever and how often we ask for it, we dont even get a single answer but in return we should give them money and find their wanted games...
