Hey Everyone!


Here it is. Chapter 5.


This chapter picks up exactly where chapter 4 left off. It will address the issues with Mercedes and Portia. It will also answer some questions you might have about the MC's background and his relationship with his late wife.


As I've said before, this chapter is a little shorter than normal. While it has a decent amount of content, it mostly serves as a setup for the final chapter. Chapter 6 will be a giant-sized ending/update that will contain the events of New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.

But you should start with Christmas Eve. As this is the sequel to that story.

I did not have any problems at all. Do you play or have you played with a mod?

I thought you first might have saved at a weird place like a transition or something. But since you say none of you save work..

It is quite some time since I touch it last time so is hard to remember, I guess if I had used some mod, it was probably something from the original post...
So, the previous version 0.4.1 that I still have it on an external storage, works great with all 230 pages of save points (yeah 230 pages!)
Usual I attach to any AVN the URM52 for adding a better textbox, for easy readability fonts, for not covering the center image.
Now the last 0.5 version when load any previous save point gives a big fat error , ignore send me at the beginning And this sucks.

hmm that's strange. I use URM for that also in most games. Not for this one, though. URM should not affect anything as it does nothing with the base code script. The so-called real incest mod might.
It could also be that the .zip file got corrupted during the download. And you should just try to download it again.

I don't have time to look at the code right now. But I've been helping Jonesy with beta testing, and I will tell him about this, if he has not already seen this.

Agreed. Unfortunately, Jonesy stated above that the upcoming Chapter 6 will be a huge one, but it is also the final chapter.
Then Siren Song will be his only game going, which is a great one as well!

@0bora Just thought I let you know that it is a bug. Not sure why your game crashes. Most ppl who have discovered it (including us), just seem to get automatically rolled back to the start of the last scene from chapter 4.
Might be URM that is causing additional problems for you. Have you tried starting it without URM?

Thank you very much for you big interest... I have erased all, re-download, didn't put the URM to see what's going on without it...
It is basicly the same ... URM not have any negative contribution.
What I had seen is that chapters 1,2,3 can't be loaded from any of the previous save points.
At the beginning of the CHAPTER 4 it load from save point OK but up to some point.
In this image the CHAPTER 4 save well but the previous save (one position to the left) does not load giving error... if I continue to the right they "load" sending the game at the beginning of the chapter 4 but up to a point (10-20 slides further) again it give error...

At some point in CHAPTER4 can be loaded again.... where there is a choose between 2 group of girls... from that point game split in two paths ... again from there on both paths after few slides does not load anymore.
Me I cant understand a damn thing whats going on

Chapter 6 will be the end of New Year's Daye but Jonesy has said he plans to do new stories with the characters.

Well, never assume. Comparing Radiant devs and Jonesy with how they work and treat their fans/subs. Is like apples and oranges.
But don't wry Jonesy cares allot about telling his stories. He also goes between two different games, so he started working on Siren Song 0.3 right now. It might be another year until we get the final chapter on this one.

The creative process is different for every one. Some have teams, some work alone. Some have to have a real job on the side. Sometimes you make a big mistake and have to go back to make big changes.

Also, newest news on Radiant is Jan 31. But I believe it when I see it with those guys.

I'm aware. There are some devs that do that and it's really a pain in the ass and really shitty to do. and I agree with the Radiant devs. They've been talking about the drop beinf right around the corner for like 6 months now.
