I believe My New Family sequel is something he'll be able to do regardless, since he didn't lose any assets for that one - he was able to finish it after he had his stuff seized - but he's still in the process of creating the assets for that one (all of the new daughters need models, new environments, characters are going to be changed somewhat, obviously), and he was also in the mindset of wanting to continue with this game, so he decided to do the prequel while hoping to get his stuff back in time to get back to work on the main game.

We'll have to see what happens once the prequel is finished, whether he decides to go into working on MNF2 and continue to wait to find out if he'll get his stuff back (assuming he doesn't get it back before then, which would obviously be much better) or try to push forward and figure out a way to start working on the next chapter of MNM instead of waiting (i.e. remaking models if he has to, which he really doesn't want to do, and I hope he doesn't have to do).

Another week, another progress update!

Sorry that I wasn't really able to share my thoughts and current situation last week, like I promised. A lot was going on privately that's why I wasn't really in the right space of mind to get these thoughts down. I will 100% be able to do it this week though.

Let's talk about the games!

The script for the first public release of the prequel is more or less done, I have to do some finetuning but I'm very happy with how this first public release will end. If you are already a supporter there will not be that much new to play ( maybe 10-15 minutes of stuff ) but you will get the full experience in terms of animations and all the lewd dialogues. It was actually taking me a long time to find a proper way to end this first release, since my initial thought was always to make the prequel a one release thing and to end it in a certain way. Since it does look like we will get at least one full prequel update, I have something different in mind. I feel like once you reach the end you will be super frustrated with the MC because a certain person ( who is totally not in todays render, sitting at the MCs dining table for the first time ) will constantly drop hints of an event that will happen at the end of the prequel. I really don't want to spoil too much but I feel like each and everyone of you amazing people who will play the prequel will know what Rei means - Except the MC, who is apparently also a stupid pelican.

Speaking of a stupid pelican, I'm still contemplating using Honey Select 2 for My New Family and I might end up making a public poll about it once I have Lucy and Sandra completed. You people can then decide if you want My New Family 2 to look like the Christmas special in terms of graphics and the different lighting, or if you want to see Honey Select 2 with the bigger visual difference but better work environment in general. I feel like getting Lucy right is the most important part since she is the favorite of most of you and Sandra is my favorite, so she is the most important to me to feel right. The initial Sandra I made was not really what I had in mind so I hope I can pull it off. I'm just very particular when it comes to hair, I guess, if it doesn't feel "right" the whole character feels off to me.

Of course I also worked on the main game again, even though I wasn't really feeling that well mentally. Sometimes work is the best way to get out of this and I kinda want to introduce a "side story" in the game that caters to a certain kink. If you remember, when you were visiting the hospital with Sarah she was talking about Sabine and her parents...I will go a route that I have never done before in any of my games , but if I had to compare it to My New Family, it would kinda be like the Dianna situation? Just...With more intend on that aspect. Let's just say that when you eventually meet Sabine's mother and hear her talk to the MC ( if you decide to go that way, it's going to be optional ) you will know what I mean. I hope I can pull it off since it's very different to the usual stuff I write, but I feel like it could spice the game up quite a bit!

And I think that's it for now. Sorry again that I wasn't able to provide the update I promised last week, I promise to do it this week, though. Just keep in mind that this post will be purely personal so if you don't want to read that, that's tltally fine. If anything comes up I'll let you guys know. Until then, stay awesome!

Another week, another month, another progress update!

Honestly, I was blown away by the positive feedback on my post from yesterday. I can't deny that I got pretty emotional writing it and reading your comments made me even more emotional - In a positive way this time, though. I know I keep saying this but thank you so much for your understanding and positive comments. Like I said in that post, I completely understand if you are sick of waiting or if you don't believe me, but I just ask you to respect my decision to rather wait until I get my rendering assets back. I really hope when I see my lawyer this month I will have some positive news to share.

With that out of the way, let's talk about the games!

The first public release for the prequel is nearing it's completion and I'm very happy on the extra content I added after the latest playable version for supporters. It will be a little different compared to the main game this time and the easiest comparison would be My New Family. If you are a supporter, you usually played five ingame days and then the "Pre-Release" had the last day in it, which was 10-15 minutes of extra content compared to what you already knew. It will be the same for the prequel, where you will get a long morning talk with Sabrina, Lea and later on Rei, on which the prequel will end during a certain moment. You will also get all the animations of course, so there is also that. Honestly, I would recommend replaying the prequel completely if you are a supporter, just so you get the "full" experience of the first day. I expect to be done with the renders and animations in the next ~14 days, so a release before Christmas is very likely. I just hope that with the ending of the first release I have in mind, I will be able to deliver something truly amazing once I get my assets back. That's all I can say to that for now. Todays render is Lea in the morning in front of MCs room after a... Let's say, very interesting night if you went a certain route with her.

After my post and all your positive feedback I got a new spark of inspiration for the main game. I feel like with the first public prequel release out, I can start to mention at least a few girls in the main game already. Don't worry, it will take a while for all of them to appear ( since the cast for My New Memories is already pretty big and I want to make sure every character gets as much time as they need ), but what if the MC has a talk with let's say Lina in the car. Lina was in Germany, as you know, and only recently returned to the household. What if she met someone there that the MC knows, but Lina doesn't. It's not like the MC keeps secrets from the others, as you know, but you also remember how surprised they were to learn about Yukiko ( except Olivia, I guess ). Only Anna, Lena and Sabrina know everything regarding this side of the MC so I feel like the introduction of the prequel girls will be super fun. Like I said though, you will first get to meet the ginger trio and then in Chapter 5 you might get to see one of the prequel girls, not 100% sure.

And I think that's it for now. Sorry that it's a rather short progress update, I promise to update you guys like usual if something happens. I can't wait for you to play the full prequel and I really hope that it will help make the waiting for My New Memories Chapter 4 worth it. Stay awesome!

The current situation and the way forward...


This post will be mostly about personal stuff going on in my life and what's on my mind lately. If you don't care about that, that's totally fine. You can ignore this post and wait for the progress update tomorrow. Also, I'm making this post more to clarify some questions I got again recently and will use it as something I can link again multiple times, just in case those questions come up more often again. After that I will talk a bit about myself.

First, I want to answer the question I have been getting the most again lately.

Why are you not remaking the models?
This has always been a possibility and it's the one thing I fall back to if and only if I will never get my stuff back ( or if there is a zero chance I get back anything to begin with ). I know this is going to sound frustrating for a lot of people because it has been over a year already and trust me, I know how much it sucks that the waiting has been going on since September 2023 basically. The thing is, if I recreate those characters and know that I will get my stuff back eventually, this will constantly be on my mind. I will really start to dislike what I created and that I had to "force" myself to do it. I personally will rather wait, no matter how long it takes, until its absolutely certain ( let's say, a court case where I would be judged ) that I will not get my data back. I know that a lot of you amazing people said you will wait no matter how long it takes but trust me, I would be the last person in the world that would be angry at any of you if you decided "That was long enough, get over it". That is purely my own stubbornness at this point and the dread that I will hate working on My New Memories eventually. Please respect this decision of mine as well though, you don't have to agree with it and you can say "It's not that big of a deal, I will love your remade chars as well", but I don't want to do it as long as there is even a 1% chance I get my stuff back ( and it's a 99.9% chance right now ).

Why are you making a prequel and did work fully on My New Family 2?
The easiest answer would be that I felt very, very burned out on My New Family. I think if this shit in september didn't happen, it would not have been that extreme, but my shit basically got taken while I was working on the last two days of the epilogue - I had so much other stuff planned but because of this situation, I completely threw everything overboard and had to start "from scratch" regarding those days. That was the first breaking point. The other was that my inspiration and creativity was just...Gone. That's why you also didn't get any real NSFW scenes in the Christmas special, I wanted to do at least one but I just wasn't able to think of something. I had a lot of stuff in mind regarding My New Family 2 back then, but it was pretty much all gone with the worries I had ( and still have ) after the police raided my home. This sounds more and more like a stupid excuse but it's hard to describe. My head wasn't really there at this time, but it is now. That's why I'm giving My New Family 2 more development time again.

It has been almost a year since you released anything. What happened? The prequel was supposed to be done fast?
Honestly? I don't know. I know it's easy to blame the whole police raiding my place and taking my hardware thing, but it's not like I didn't buy new hardware to start working properly again. If we take the prequel into account, for example, which I started to work on full time after the release of the first playable version for supporters ( which was earlier this year, if I remember correctly ) then there should at least have been a fully playable public release by now. I can't really find a good reason why it's taking me that much longer to work on something that I love. After the initial feedback for the prequel has been nothing but positive my morality got a huge boost and I thought I can finally start working how I used to. But I couldn't and I don't know how. Friends that I told about this say it's because of the Trauma/PTSD, but is it really that? Lately I have been feeling better again mentally and I was able to commit more time to what I love to do the most - Writing stories. But sometimes there are still these phases where I just can't do anything. It's hard to explain but I'm pretty sure that people that experienced similar traumas know what I mean.

I think those were the most burning questions I received in the last few months. I now wanted to talk a bit more about the current situation and how I'm feeling. Please keep in mind that this is not a fish for sympathy or pity, that's why I will try to keep the stuff more or less neutral.

The fact that shit shit has been going on for over a year has taken the biggest toll on my mental ( and physical ) health ever in my life. I researched at least a thousand times by now if this is normal - If the german law system is that slow, if people that got their equipment seized for other things had to wait that long as well and the overall impression I got is...Yes, yes it does take that fucking long. I found so many people that were accused of having certain illegal materials on their pcs ( videos and photos of the darkest kind ) and their wait time averaged around mine - From 6 months to 2 years, everything was there. That wasn't the only thing I researched. I also looked into what happened to the data of those people, which gave me a bit of relief. If anything illegal is found on your harddrives, they will be wiped, no way to object there. When it comes to hardware, you get everything back, they have no right to keep it ( though they can keep the harddrives if there was anything illegal on it ). I can say with one million percent honesty that nothing that was on my PCS ( be it laptops, external harddrives etc ) had ANYTHING illegal on them. My games ( all of them ) should be legal in Germany, since all characters are declared 18 and above and none of them are depicted in a way that could make you think otherwise. If someone thinks my characters look younger, that's fine, they aren't though. My game is not some dark fantasy for people to live out certain illegal kinks. The german justice system is pretty clear on stuff like that anyway so even if the investigating police officer deems some characters too young, it wouldn't mean anything since the law for fictive art ( 3d or 2d ) is different from real stuff in Germany ( I don't want to get into detail, but in Germany you can even have certain pictures on your devices that would get you a long jailtime in other countries ).

Now I don't know what this investigating police officer thought she has found on my hardware. If it's anything game related then this can easily be solved, like I said, my pcs are "clean" and only contain working stuff or games that I play. I don't know what she could have found on my phone either, since I use my phone to mostly talk to real life friends or to chat on Discord while I'm not at the PC. I never used any "shady" stuff like Telegram or TOR browser or things like that, because I never did anything illegal to begin with.

Knowing all this and still being treated like a fucking criminal and predator ( because that's the narrative they are trying to spin now, apparently ) was almost as bad as the raid on my apartment. I don't know how to describe it properly, but if you think of someone accusing you of these horrible things, you can probably imagine how it makes you feel. My lawyer is doing an amazing job in trying to help me out of this situation but sadly, he is just a lawyer, not a state attorney. I know a lot of you have said he is not doing enough but trust me, he is doing everything he can. He is basically fighting at 2 fronts for me, is trying to help me get my stuff back AND he is trying to get the piece of shit who caused all of this to get his judgement. Basically, this person ruined my life and said things to the cops just to avoid to be put in jail ( he accused himself of horrible things so he can stay free until the court case ). And then this guy flees to Thailand. How can any police officer still take ANYTHING this person says as something truthful? Well, I grasped at a last straw recently and basically told my lawyer that I will do anything so I can get my stuff back. I can't go into detail what exactly I "offered", but it's something he and I will discuss later this month ( he will get an updated look on the case file at the end of the year, thats when we will talk ). I can't go into more detail since we don't know whos reading my stuff etc. There are a lot of things coming into play here and one thing I also have to keep in mind ( and track off ) is the huge financial loss I already suffered from because I currently can't continue the development of My New Memories. The monatery loss is bigger than I thought and it hurts even more to know that my potential for growth is basically on hold since september 2023. But that's a loss I can manage, so don't worry about that.

Lastly, I want to talk about something positive. And with what I said on my 5th anniversary post, the most positive thing I can talk about is you guys. It has been over a year since this happened and so many of you still show their support - be it financially with supporting me on the platforms or be it emotionally, with sending me encouraging messages and comments on my posts. I think it's hard to describe what words can do to people in a positive way and even though I only know you guys online, you guys commenting and messaging me have a huge impact on my mental health in the most positive way. I see all of you people that play my games not just as "fans" or "community members", you are way way more than that. The positive words you leave and the ratings you give for my games are the one thing that keep me going. I don't want to say "keep me alive" because that might sound like too much..But it also kinda is like that. I felt like when the police raided my home and took my stuff I lost the purpose of doing anything at all. But then seeing that you guys send me your energy and love to keep going, to continue to do what I love, to continue write stories that so many of you enjoy, that is something that I will never be able to pay back. I love you guys from the bottom of my heart that stayed with me till now and I really hope that all this fighting will eventually pay off. The only thing I can do for you people is keep working on the games you love so much, just like I love making them. My biggest hope is that you will enjoy the prequel so that the waiting for the main game and My New Family 2 becomes more bearable. I will do my best, that is a promise I can give you, to stay strong.

And like I said earlier, if you think this is taking too long, if you don't want to wait anymore and feel frustrated, angry or disappointed with me, or even if you don't believe anything I say and think I'm just a huge scammer...That is also fine. You will still hold a special place for me because you are someone that used to enjoy my work. I'm very sorry that I can't be how I used to be over a year ago, where I was full of creativity and released updates in a steady cycle. All I can do is promise to do better, to keep going and to try my best to get in a consistent rhythm again.

And this is why Ketzal left France, their "loli" (highly debatable when this isn't even a loli AVN) laws are about as dumb as Germany's. This will probably end up abandoned, if for no other reason the cops there take their sweet time on returning seized shit so it will prob be another year or two in addition to the year that's already passed before he gets it back. By that point most people will have lost interest or forgot about it and moved on anyway. Hell I did already until I saw a similar model in a different AVN I was reading recently and was reminded of this (took a bit to even remember the name to search) so decided to see if anything's changed in the past year (nope).

Another week, another progress update!

This one is going to be a little "shorter" since there is not that much to report regarding the prequel.

Speaking of the prequel, I'm done with the script and now I'm fully focusing on rendering. Like I said last week, if you are already a supporter this "final" update of the first release will not contain that much new stuff for you, except all the animations and lewdness you missed in your first playthrough. If you only played the demo then you will be in for a treat - The rest of the content is going to be at least 4x the size of that initial demo, including all the animations and stuff. I'm really looking forward to making these because I hope I still retained that "skill" from working on My New Memories such a long time ago. But as you know, that was also one of the reasons to make the prequel, to keep working in DAZ3D. Can't wait to hear your feedback, especially on the ending of the first prequel update! Todays render is just Jackie being cute in a Dress, it's not in the game.

I also worked some more on My New Family 2 and My New Memories ( the main game ) again. For MNF2, I'm currently thinking if I can make it so that even if you never played the first game, you can jump right into the second one. I know that I'm going to do a summary if you forgot the story of MNF1 in the beginning of the game ( you can skip it if you remember everything ), and then I want to start the game in a way that directly makes you think "Hey, this feels familiar, I missed these people more than I thought." Especially with Sandra and Lucy, a lot of has happened in the 18 years jump that you experience in My New Family 2. How did the girls change? You know the little "supernatural" theory Lucy and Elaine have in the main game regarding the MC, but is that really what happened? I can go in so many directions with this game but I kinda want to keep doing what I can do best - Create wholesome household love games that will put a smile on your face, with no big drama or things like that happening.

Speaking of My New Memories the main game, I'm currently debating how far I want to take certain lewd actions. I know I want to do a lot more than I did in MNF, but I also want to make it so it feels "right" to go a route like this. Don't worry, it won't be anything extreme, I'm not into these things anyway, but the stuff regarding Sabines family is something I really want to explore, especially with Anna being awake and the MC remembering everything again. You remember what Sarah said regarding Sabines mother, but nothing really happened there...Yet. Now that Anna is awake she might want the MC to finally commit to it. And it's not going to be like he usually approaches the women, it will be in a more direct way. I really hope I can pull it off, I think it's always a fun challenge to do something you never did before and this kink is something I always wanted to do. Like I said, I kinda did it with Dianna in My New Family but this time it will be the "real thing". All of this is optional of course, but who doesn't want the MC to steal a woman, right?

Another week, another progress update!

Let's jump right into the games again, shall we?

Well, I finished all the static renders for the prequel and now only have to do the animations with the first one already being done as well. It's a simple one, with Katharina ( if you decided to stay at her place ), but I decided to add a few more animations later on where I didn't announce it directly. I'm pretty confident I will be able to finish all of the animations this week which means the prequel can finally be released next week - I'm not sure on the day yet, but I will most likely aim to release it after Christmas just to not interrupt any festivities etc. I'm so happy I was able to reach this point, even though it took so so long. I'm really sorry about that by the way, like I explained in that post where I talk about the future, that's not how I usually am and I hope that once the first prequel release is out, I can more or less return to my usual release frequencies ( at least for the prequel / my new family 2, since I still need my stuff back for the main game ). I hope that the wait for the prequel was worth it in the end, but you can be the judge of that! Don't hesitate to share any feedback you have with me! Todays render is Bethany in the kitchen being very happy where the MC is heading...

I worked a little on My New Family 2 as well again, but it's more story concept stuff I write down. I enjoyed the "daily routine" you had in MNF, but I also think it got kinda stale to wake up and have that talk with Lucy. I kinda want to do what I did in MNM where you still have "morning stuff" before the day starts, but more different things. With the new girls being present I think it's an easy thing to do, especially since the MC has to take care of a lot of things ( but thankfully he has Sandy and the others to help him with that ). I want to create a cute household dynamic and you will probably see a lot of similarities to My New Memories, where the girls will know how to keep themself company more present as well. I think this will make the game more enjoyable in the long run. But I feel like I talked about this a few times already?

Speaking of My New Memories, with the prequel release being that close you will probably get a small lore drop in the end that you maybe expected. I kinda want to elaborate further on that in the main game without saying too much. Like I said, my goal was for everyone to enjoy the prequel and the main game independant from another, so that you can enjoy both of them the same way even if you never played the main game ( or prequel ). If you however played both, it will make the games more enjoyable for you in the end ( and if you decide to not play one of them anyway, that's still fine ). With the three gingers arriving I'm already having a pretty big cast of girls, but I kinda enjoy working with a household dynamic like that. I think it was more difficult in My New Family because there were too many "side girls" that never had the chance to fully shine ( exceptions like Sun or Melissa, of course ). With My New Memories, you will have way more main girls than side girls and since it's a big household, you will often spend time with them. I think this is why it's so important to me to show how much each and every girl in the household means to the MC, especially the three gingers from Mannies side. Funnily enough you'll know what I mean after he has his talk with Jessica, since she is one of the reasons this part of the household felt so neglected.

Another week, another progress update!

This one is going to be a little shorter, at least regarding the prequel!

Because the first full chapter of the prequel will release TODAY for $5 and higher tier supporters! Well, I can't give an exact time but I would say late night EU time ( so... Maybe in 7-8 hours from this post on ). This version will include all animations, all music tracks and the full gallery. If you already played one of the versions as a supporter, I would recommend to just start from the beginning again. I changed up a few lines of dialogue and also added a few better renders here and there. Oh, and I also added one extra animation that wasn't initially planned, but I hope you're going to like it! ( It's one with Katharina, who is also in todays progress update render ). The public release will probably be after Christmas, I'm aiming for December 27th. You will be able to grab it from the Discord as a supporter or you can just DM me and I'll send you the link! I can't wait to hear your feedback and if it's a worthy "time killer" until I can continue on the main game ( or until MNF2 Releases )

Since I only had to do animations and a few more renders for the prequel, I was able to put more work into My New Family 2 and the main game again. I was very happy about that, to be honest, because I plan to release the first playable version for supporters early next year ( for My New Family 2 ). I know that this seems sudden but after the first chapter of the prequel is released, I kinda want to focus more on My New Family 2 and the main game again. I guess it also depends how much you're going to like the prequel, but I feel like a lot of you guys are eagerly waiting to continue My New Family while My New Memories is on hold. I will still have that appointment with my lawyer this week, I think, or it will be on Monday next week ( that's more or less the last day to do something like that anyway ). I will tell you guys what that appointment taught me, but I feel like over the holidays ( I think I also said that last year ) most state institutes are super slow in general. I mean, I had a car accident on saturday and I still don't know where they towed my car to because of the upcoming holidays. Still, I can't wait to share the first character models for MNF2 with you guys, there might even be one this weekend that I can share.

And I think that's it. I'm super nervous about this release of the first chapter of My New Memories: The Beginning, I really really hope that the wait was worth it for you guys and that you'll at least think "Okay, I would prefer the main game but this is a nice addition" or something. And keep in mind, all the girls of the prequel will eventually show up in the main game. If I have anything to share I'll let you guys know. Stay awesome!

Another week, another progress update!

This is going to be a shorter one ( more or less )

Well, the prequel pre-release is out for $5 and higher supporters on the Discord and so far the feedback regarding the ending has been amazing. I'm glad I was able to "pull it off" even though a lot of you already guessed it anyway. Still, this means the first chapter of the prequel is "completed" and the only thing making me wait for it to release to everyone is Steam, since valve is still reviewing the game right now ( they already had an initial review but I left some things in there like "Beta version" etc, which I had to remove ). So basically, as soon as Valve checked the game and said it's good to release, I will release it on Steam. That doesn't mean I technically have to wait to release it to the "public" in general since it was never my intend to hide the game behind a paywall. It's more...If you want to support me on Steam and/or like to have your adult visual novels there, you can buy it there. It's 100% not needed though, I'm pretty sure you can "borrow" it somewhere else ( cough cough Discord cough cough ). Over the holidays and the completion of the first chapter I "relaxed" a little, basically only did writing for Chapter 4 of My New Memories again. I'm so glad that even though it has been almost 1 1/2 years without having access to my assets, that I can still continue to work on this game that means the world to me. I'm probably putting too much Anna stuff into it right now but I hope it balances out with the other girls as well - I just want her to shine, I guess, since she is my personal favorite ( I think by now I said that over a thousand times ). Still, I'm more or less back in full force in terms of work and I'm glad it still does it's job with keeping me occupied and to endure this super frustration and way too long ongoing situation. The main thanks for that goes to you guys, though, since the only reason I feel that motivated is because I want to deliver something as soon as I have my stuff back. Something that will make you say "Okay, it took quite a long time, but the wait was worth it".

I'm still working on Honey Select 2 versions of Sandra and Lucy and I feel like I'm nearing a point where I can say "Okay, let's show it to the people". My New Family 2 will be just as important as My New Family 1 is to me and I know that the visual difference between honey select 1 and 2 is huge, but I really hope that you guys will like it since Honey Select 2 will offer me more options to work on the game ( in terms of assets etc ). You guys will be the deciding factor in the end because I personally wouldn't mind to continue in Honey Select 1 ( the game would look like it did in the Christmas Special then ).

And I think thats it for now. Thank you guys so much for all the happy holiday wishes on the render I posted, I will make another post on new years eve where I will talk a bit more about everything! And if anything comes up, I'll let you guys know! Stay awesome!

This game was a disappointment to me. Seemed like a big build up to some sex that just didn't happen. A good four hours or so wasted. But thats just my opinion.
