that's true, but I've also had issues where using that tool has led me to annoying frustrations months later when an update comes out and I forget that I used it and I my saves don't work on the new update and I spend far too long pulling my hair out trying to figure out why, so I usually only use that tool if I really need to, or on completed games, because I have brain rot.

It is on hold because the dev was accused of running a crypto scam by people who were actual scammers. The German police sized the devs computers and drives, which contain the files needed to make the characters. The dev had sent some files to another dev for a special, so he is currently working on a prequel to the story that takes place in college, with a few characters from the original and new characters. An early version of that will be out to subscribers soon, and the full version will be out at some point this year. There is already a page up at Steam for the new game:

Another week, another progress update!
Just something short regarding my case that was upsetting me these last few weeks, looks like the cops messed up back in the day and now they need me to come over and get my fingerprints and pictures taken. Usually that's something they do when they seize your equipment ( regardless of the charges ) but looks like they only now remembered - almost 11 months later. So that is something I'm not looking forward to in august ( yeah, its in august, not even in the next few days ). I'm losing the faith in the german law system each and every day, especially when that piece of shit in thailand is still living his best life...Oh well. Sorry, had to vent that out.
Okay, let's talk about the games.
I've made some decent progress on the prequel again. I'm currently writing the date with Rei and it's pretty much what I always wanted to do in MNF, but never really could because of the household background. Rei and the MC immediately click in the game, as soon as they meet. The interest is mutual and while they both dont know why this is happening, there is a very deep meaning to this, something that will directly carry over to the maingame. On their date night they will go to the cinema, as you know, and then the MC will go for a short walk through the city with her. This is going to be a scene where he ( the MC ) will starten to question if Rei and a certain other person in his life are connected, but he won't ask her outright. When I wrote these dialogues I could basically feel the frustration for every player that already played My New Memories - Because we all know what he should ask Rei right away. But the MC doesn't draw this connection, especially since it has been such a long time, and even with all the things Rei keeps mentioning, he still doesn't fully understand it. I want to introduce that reveal as soon as I have my assets back because then I can safely integrate it onto the prequel. People that already knew will be like "Ha, I knew it!". That's all I'm going to say, you know how much I like to tease you. Theres also going to be a longer even with Sabrina again who didn't get as much screentime alone in the prequel yet. The MC and her notice that after their first week of uni, the need to see each other in private ( aka alone without their friends ) has been higher than ever. So, they will do just that. Not going to go into details here but they will share a certain moment that will explain a lot regarding their quick progress in the main game. I know I'm a tease today, sorry about that.
Speaking of Sabrina, I feel like she could also get some one on one time with the MC in the main game again. If you decided to go a certain path with her there will be some rather interesting things they will discuss. Lena and Anna awakened something in her when they had a moment to talk to each other alone ( basically a women evening where the three of them giggled and shared cute things ). Lena dropped the hint a little in Chapter 3 already, where she sees herself and the MC in the future. It was something that Sabrina never really considered because her thoughts were mainly focused on Anna being in a coma and how this affects the family. Now that Anna had this talk with her ( and with the MC as well, since they don't have any secrets ) it's something they can truly consider. It kinda reminds me of the "endgame" of My New Family, just that the connection between the MC and Sabrina is way deeper because they know each other their whole life. And, as the mean tease that I am, I'm not going to say more. But you Sabrina fans out there will probably get the biggest "Fuck yeah" moment regarding their relationship in Chapter 4.

Another week, another progress update - Even though it will be a very short one.
As some of you may have noticed, my patreon page is currently under review. The reasons for this are not really clear to me right now and the Email from the Trust & Safety team only linked me to the game threads on f95zone. I took the measures that were in my power there in my own hands and now will just have to wait if that was enough and if it wasn't, what the next steps will be. Patreon is my main source of income so it's pretty important to me to get it back up and running, I basically rely on this income to pay for... Well, everything. I had to change my email address on Patreon as well since they weren't able to respond to me on my current one, apparently, so I hope that also worked out.
Starting last week I also wasn't feeling that well physically and on wednesday I took a covid test and it turned out positive. I was basically knocked out since then, laying in bed and not doing anything ( and I really mean anything ) for the first time ever in my life. Usually, when I'm sick, I'm still able to somewhat function and at least work a little but I was feeling absolutely bonked until yesterday, where I was finally able to get out of bed properly for the first time. Since then it has become better and better, but that is also the reason there wasn't a lewd render last week ( and why there is no progress update render for this week ). I promise you guys to post to catch up on these, though, and as soon as I feel good enough to properly sit down and work again, I will post more than one or two to make up for it.
That sadly also means there wasn't any real progress on the prequel or main game, sadly, which is pretty fucking awful to me personally. It's the first time since forever that I felt that sick but the fact I'm already starting to feel better hopefully means I'm over the worst of it. Another week, another progress update!
As some of you may have noticed, the Patreon page is back up and there is also a render again this week. The last covid test I took was negative and I'm also feeling way way better than last week. I'm telling you, 7 days ago I was feeling really, really bad. Fever, headache, coughing...All the not-so-fun stuff.
Since I wasn't really starting to recover until Thursday, I wasn't able to do as much for the prequel as I wanted. But the weekend was very productive and I worked some more on the Sabrina event that you will experience on this day. Like I mentioned in another post, this is one of the events where you will be purely spending alone time with Sabrina ( well, there might be some Bethany interaction while they are at home ). This event will deliver a pretty good explanation on why Sabrina ended up moving with the MC and Anna back in the day. It's not only that they can't be separated for too long, it was more of a mutual decision that was made on this special day. They will both start to talk and explore more about their feelings, thanks to the help of a certain redhead that eased the MC into not overthinking every kind of situation too much. And who knows, maybe even Bethany dropped a few hints on what the MC should do...Anyway, I think this is one of the more wholesome events in the prequel so far, especially if you played the main game. The connection between Sabrina and the MC is just very, very special and my intend for this event is to show it. I expect the script for the "third" prequel day to be done sometimes this week.
While I was preparing a few lewd renders on the weekend, I also worked more on the main game. There are some things I started to do that integrade the prequel into the main story as well. I feel like without the prequel it would have been hard to introduce "new" girls into the story, at least after the three gingers arrive, so now with the prequel coming out before chapter 4, it will be easier. Still, I don't want to overload the games with potential love interests since the focus will always be on the girls you already met ( with the addition of the three gingers and one girl of the prequel, not going to say who but she doesn't have red hair ). I also gave Olivia a super cute and wholesome event with the MC, where she will show more of her regular behavior now that Anna is back. The little trauma she experienced and where she started to act younger than she is will now be over, so the little princess can be her old bubbly self again, something that especially Sarah really really missed. She will later join this event and will make sure her favorite sister will receive some light hearted bantering, not without showing that she is the oldest of the bunch for a reason. Youngest and oldest often share a special bond and Sarah and Olivia will be the best example. If you remember their little bantering in Sarahs apartment you got a good idea what they will do!
And I think that's it for now. I will start to post the lewd renders in this week, it will be either all of them in one post or I will be a bit of a tease and give you one or two each day, until ending it with a super lewd render on the weekend. If something comes up I'll let you guys know and usual, stay awesome!

Another week, another progress update!
Let's jump right into the games because I sadly still don't have an update regarding anything.
I also wanted to say thank you for the great feedback on the lewd renders I posted last week! I had a lot of fun rendering again and I think I will keep that tradition up with posting more than one. Maybe some NSFW renders from the prequel day?
I decided to make the day of the prequel a little longer, that's why the script wasn't completely done yet. Especially the event I talked about last week with Sabrina and the MC will get a lot of dialogue which puts a big spotlight on their future relationship and what can possible happen in the main game going forward. Not going to spoil that much, but it's going to be one of the more important talks the MC has with Sabrina, basically setting the future they both have in mind in stone. Of course he didn't know that Anna would eventually come back, but the things they talk about kinda hint that he always hoped. Todays render is Lea in a pool, though, where the MC, Bethany, Sabrina, Lea and Katharina will go to in the afternoon. It's more of a little "private" pool, so they can be there undisturbed. Funnily enough, it also contains a sauna, even though the MC never went to one before. Maybe there is a certain big breasted ginger that will introduce him to the comfort of them? As we know, he really likes to go to the sauna in the main game, so I wonder who or what caused his big interest in it. Him and Lea will also have some fun in the pool ( SFW fun ), where they also will talk about a few things that explain a lot for the main game ( remember when Olivia told the MC she was afraid of water? Something like that ).
I also worked some more on the main game, starting a rather cute event where the MC is going to be alone with Lina. I don' want to say anything about that event in particular, but will just drop something a few people asked me now that the MC has all his memories back. Early on in Chapter 4 he will tell certain memebers of the family the whole truth about what happened with Sarah and Lina before they were adopted, but it's not something he is going to share with any of the other girls, especially not Lina. This is not to keep secrets from her, it's more that it's not really needed anymore now and it would only cause a lot of emotional stress in a time where the whole family is healing after Anna wakes up. Lina in general is just very interested in how Anna and the MC came up with the idea of adopting them, especially since they only got Sophie during that time. They never really had this talk before but Lina just feels that something extreme happened that night between the MC and Sarah. I will keep it light hearted but also very emotional, which will also play an important factor regarding the things Lina said in the sauna - her feelings for the MC.

Another week, another month, another progress update!
August always is a special month for me and this one will be special in so many ways - most of them are positive and there is only one negative thing coming up next week. I'll talk more about it in the next progress update though but I can't wait for my 5 year anniversary as an AVN dev coming up! Sadly, I missed to post more lewds last week, so I promise there will be more coming this week!
Let's jump into the games.
I can now say, with a lot of confidence, that the next prequel "beta" ( that might end up being the first public release for everyone ) will 100% release sometimes this month. I made some amazing progress on the script and the renders are already cooking in the background as well. Todays render shows Amelie in her dorm room, the MC will visit her after he brought Rei home from their date ( if you decided to pursue that path with her, but you really should ). Amelie still has to get used to being "friendly" around the MC, but she is slowly but surely warming up to him. They both decide it might be a good idea to spend some more time together, but alone, so you get the option to ask her for that. It's not going to be a date and it's not going to be romantic right away or anything, it's more the option for you to know a girl better that had quite a troublesome childhood. If you know me, then you know that I like to put these characters in the game for the MC to "protect" and to show them that there are still good people out in the world. Especially blonde women tend to be more problematic for the MC ( cough Jessica cough ) so it will be refreshing to see that things can also be different. It will be a different approach like the usual one because initially, there will be zero romantic feelings involved between those two. But there is always the change that something might happen that could cause the little ember to start the fire of romantic love.. Or something like that.
I also made some decent progress on Chapter 4, but I'm more focused on the prequel right now. The script for Chapter 4 is all over the place right now because I'm not making the events in my usual order. Some of them are written for the "first" day ( that includes the night of the hospital ) and some of them are for the "last" day. I started to work on a very lewd event involving Lena, where the MC will tease her a lot with certain things. He wants to try to get Lena to be a little more romantic and open about these things and it looks like the best way to get her to do that is to... Well, be lewd with her. We all know how crazy Lena can be so the MC teasing her during such a time will certainly be a funny event. Please remember that if you decided to not pursue a relationship with Lena in prior chapters, you will be kinda "forced" to be back together with her again after the MC got his memories back. The main reason is Yukiko, I didn't want her to experience a break up. I hope that is okay, but I might give you an option to skip this part if you really don't want to. I know not everyone likes the "forced" relationship, but from a story perspective it just wouldnt make sense for them to not be together anymore. Like I said in another progress update, I changed a lot of her early dialogue that could be one of the things that some of you guys didnt like about her initially ( the keeping secrets etc ).
And I think that's it for now. Next week I will have some more personal stuff to talk about ( police visit is on the 13th where they take my fingerprints and pictures ) and I will probably make another post after I have been there. I feel like I sometimes need this to "vent" a little to all of you amazing people, since your support always helps me to feel better. Like usual, I will update you guys once I hear anything new. Another week, another progress update.
This one is going to be a bit shorter, I think. Tomorrow is going to be a very bad day for me, I think I explained it a little already and will talk more about it in a seperate post tomorrow. To keep it short, the police wants to take fingerprints of me as a preemptive measure so I "Don't commit crimes anymore" and they can use that data to compare it to other, unsolved crimes. It's a pretty huge thing for me personally because it took them almost a year to get this shit done, instead of doing it when they took my equipment. Like I said, I will most likely make a more personal post tomorrow to talk about my experience these last few weeks ever since I got the letter. I just want to get it over with.

Since the thing I mentioned above was constantly on my mind I sadly didn't get as much done as I wanted for the prequel. I was rendering and writing like usual, I just wasn't able to keep up the pace I usually do. I finished the event with Lea, for example, and decided that they not only go to the cinema on their date but also eat something in a restaurant. This is where Rei will tell the MC a few things about her life in Japan that sound very similar to another woman he knows from that area. The MC still won't be able to connect all the dots, but it makes him even more interested in getting to know Rei on a romantic level. It's going to be the first time on a date for both of them but it won't be as awkward as I initially thought. They will always find something to talk about and I feel like this event in general will make the MC more comfortable and self confident, basically how we know him in the main game. Todays render is Rei in said restaurant
I didn't do much for Chapter 4 and the main game, sadly. I decided to give the MC and Sophie a few moments together at home between events, where Sophie is gonna mention her initial reaction again when the MC arrived home and how different she feels now about everything that has happened. You remember that she didn't join in the group hug they all had with the MC once he came home, something she now regrets a little, especially with Anna being awake. No one is being mad at her for this, of course, and her reasoning makes a lot of sense. It's just the alone time Pumpkin needed with the MC, especially since the house is usually really full. Will be more on the emotional side again and I feel like Sophie aka Pumpkin will finally start to be her cheerful bubbly self again.
And I think that's it for now. Sorry that it's not as long as they usually are. Keep your fingers crossed for me regarding tomorrow, I never experienced something like this before and even though I now know it won't take long ( maybe 10 minutes ), I still find it horrible that I'm getting treated like some kind of hardcore criminal. I will keep you guys posted, like usual ( My lawyer will be there tomorrow as well, I think , maybe he has news for me ). Until then, stay awesome, like usual. Another week, another progress update!
I know I promised you guys a post last week after I had my very unpleasant visit at the police station. But I wasn't really feeling comfortable sharing it in that week since that stuff was still super awkward and fresh on my mind. I plan to make a post this week though where I will talk about a few things that recently came to my mind. I hope that's okay
Let's talk about the games
I decided to add a bit more content to certain events of the prequel. If you remember, I talked about the MC visiting a pool with Katharina, Lea, Sabrina and Bethany. I added some funny and lewd interaction between him and a certain big busted red head ( that is totally not in todays progress update render. ) The MC is not as confident as he is in the main game, so he will be a bit more shy when Katharina approaches him regarding certain things - At least when you decided to go for that route with her. She is what I'd call a "cougar", but only for the MC. She certainly knows what she needs and what she has to do to get it, and the MC is just the right one to learn from her every little detail about how to make a woman happy. It's something rather funny because her and Bethany are so close friends. Some of the things they do and talk about will explain why the MC and Anna did certain roleplay sessions that lead into the events you already know between him and Bethany. While the prequel started more as something to keep honing my daz3d skills and "to just work on something my new memories related" I feel like it will give me so many ways to explain certain things that happened in the main game that might not have made sense because of the MC's amnesia. And instead of giving you endless flashbacks in the main game that would take time away from talking to Anna or the other cute girls, you'll instead get a "new" game that lets you experience those things. I feel like that's... Good, right? Don't hesitate to tell me what you think in the comments!
I also worked on the main game, of course, but I can't really share too much about the event I was working on. After a certain thing that happened at the end of Chapter 3 with a woman that is a Mueller by name, things will start to heat up rapidly between the MC and her, all under Anna's waiting eyes. There are no secrets between the MC and Anna, as you know, and after the MC tells her what happened ( and it was apparently not the first time, who knows? ), she is very interested to see if the MC will take the next step on his own. You might remember that he was rather passive so far, mainly because he doesn't remember how far he went with certain persons. This will change a little now. While I still want to write things how I always did ( where the girl is usually the initiator ) I will amplify the MC "just going for it" after this has happened. Maybe Yukikos kiss is a good reference for what I mean. Remember that the MC was being a little more touchy when they visited the house that is for Karla and the twins? Something like that. I don't want things to be super slow but also not extremely fast. Just... At a better pace than they were in My New Family. I think once you play this day of Chapter 4 you will completely understand what I mean.
And I think that's it for now. Sorry again for the lack of update last week, but I'm recovering more and more from this rather traumatic experience. I appreciate you guys being so kind and understanding though, especially when you send me DMs asking how it went. Another week, another progress update!
Let's jump right into the games
I made some decent progress for this prequel chapter, but it's not really where I want it to be, to be honest. I really expected to be done by now, with rendering and writing, but theres always things coming up that stop me from doing either of those. My goal was to have a release ready this month, but it looks more and more unlikely I will be able to pull it off... And I feel really fucking bad about that. The last beta release for the prequel was in June and I hate being this slow with stuff like that. It's not who I am and especially not who I want to be, so I will promise to do better again. And I don't want to make any excuses like the police thing etc, while these things suck work was always something that helped me wind down and distract from these things. There is also the Steam demo I wanted to release and other stuff I wanted to do related to My New Memories, that I haven't done at all yet. So I promise to do better and be more like I used to be, especially in terms of release cycles and stuff. Like I said, I know my situation right now is not really good but work is the one thing that always helped with it.
I think I said that this prequel day is gonna explain a lot of things the MC experienced in the main game already, and with Katharina I have such a good character to do some of those. Todays render is her in the changing area of the pool and yes, this is the men changing area, so Katharina is doing something that totally is in character for her. This little scene only occurs if you decided to pursue her, of course, but I can highly recommend to "go for her". I think I already said last week that during this event, the MCs love for a sauna will start to happen, which will ultimately lead to the funny event you had in Chapter 3 with Lina. In the prequel you're going to be in the sauna with two other women though and of them will be a character that is also in the main game already ( which basically limits it to Sabrina and Bethany haha ). The whole afternoon in the pool will be more of a bonding experience with Lea as well, since they think back to other times they were there when they were younger. All in all a good event that will hopefully be fun for people that know the main game and for people that have zero clues about My New Memories.

It's hard to explain how it feels to not have access to these characters for almost a year now, to something I created "with my own hands" and that brought so much joy to me and all of you amazing people. But I'm distracting again. Still, I will do my best to add some nice touches to this event, especially since Anna is my personal favorite character.
I also actually did some work on My New Family 2 already. I'm currently working on a new main menu design, I want it to be something unique and interesting like I did for My New Memories, while keeping the tradition that the background changes with each update. It's still kinda difficult for me to imagine how the characters will look in MNF2 and I think my plan for the first release is to slowly but surely show all the new girls that came into the household ( mainly to not overwhelm players ). So, think of your regular mornings with Lucy just... That it's not Lucy but someone that strangely enough, looks very similar to her. I don't want to bombard you with new names but all of the new household members will eventually be shown or talked about during the first release.
And I think that's it for now. On August 31st I will be celebrating the 5 year anniversary of My New Family and me starting out as a adult visual dev, which means another long personal post about the experiences I made last year. Most of them were bad, of course, but I will make this post more positive then negative. Thank you guys for your continous support and sorry again for the delay regarding the prequel. Another week, another month, another progress update!
First, I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart because of all the positive feedback you've given me on the five year anniversary post. It really warmed my heart reading all the comments and messages you guys sent me.
Okay, let's jump into the games.
The prequel is making very good progress and this time I can say with 100% confidence that the release of the next playable day is this month. I'm not sure on the public release, it depends on the animations, but the prequel turned out to be more slow paced than I anticipated. You get plenty of lewd scenes, especially in the sauna and stuff, but I think I will add one extra spicy scene. The thing with the prequel is that I can always work on it, even when I get my assets back, because it's an ever evolving story that can help explain a lot of things in the main game. And I can also end the prequel pretty quickly if I have to, because I just have to have Anna back to make a proper "ending". So I see this as a win win situation...For now. Still, I'm doing my best to deliver you a meaningful and engaging story so you can get even more excited for Chapter 4 - Or the next prequel chapter even. Todays render is Jackie at MC's home, where she has a rather funny talk with him about his physique ( she wants him to work out. I wonder if that is the reason the MC is so buffed in the main game ).
I also worked a little bit on Chapter 4 again. When I talked about Yukiko and Lina I wanted to give them both a super cute and wholesome event with the MC. Think of the shopping trip you had with Yukiko and Sophie, just that this one is going to be a bit funnier, especially between those two. If you decided to be a little more romantic with both of them a small "fight" might embrace, since the MC kissed Yukiko but Lina had the wholesome time in the sauna. I think this is going to be a very very funny event, something I love to write when those two are involved. Especially Yukiko holds such a special place in my heart, her character is exactly what I need right now. So that is something you can look forward to in Chapter 4!
And I think for now that's it. Sorry that there is not more to talk about right now, especially regarding the prequel, but I will make sure to prepare something nice in the next few days. I Really want to release a demo on Steam and for everyone else to play, so I'm going to do that as soon as possible. This will contain the first "day" of the prequel and maybe a little more. I want to give you the chance to meet all characters and then have a little lewd scene as well. Stay tuned for this, it will be super important to me to get your feedback regarding this!
