The game is apparently an intentional troll. It's meant to demonstrate to people who like NTR how it feels when all the tropes of a genre are used, but the genre hinted/teased never actually happens or gets subverted and the game, despite all those tropes, ends up being a different genre (i.e. this is the reverse of the "sudden netorare added to harem/romance game" situation that we've all seen happen so many times).

To add to what has been said, from what I've read, apparently the new black boss, Tyrone Bullman, is gay. It's hilarious over on the other site, people are falling over themselves trying to come up with scenarios over how this could actually be not actually complete and the NTR is definitely coming, just you wait! Like I actually saw a guy arguing with the person who moved the thread and put the [complete] tag on it over there after they said it was the dev who listed the version number as "final", and said "but was the dev the one who put the [complete] tag there? devs have crazy version numbers sometimes and maybe they just meant this is the final version of part one and the NTR is coming in part 2!"

And then had to be told the dev is already working on their next game on steam.

It's quite humorous.

But also, from everything I've read, this game also probably isn't going to be for you if you just want a good sexy game to fap to, since it's basically giving you an MC that goes through all of the jealous feelings of an NTR game, only without any NTR actually happening. Honestly not sure who the game is for, feels more like a thought experiment or a statement piece than anything else. But I'm sure somebody will be able to get off with it.

Without having played it, or it being my thing, I think the draw would be the portrayal of the doubt and insecurities you'd feel dealing with something like that.

I did knee-jerk-smartass that comment out and then gave it some thought and I do agree. It could be a fun ride watching this guy freak himself out with hi sown insecurities when nothing nefarious is goin on.

Yeah, that seems to be the intention. Not at all anything I'm interested in, personally, but I do think it's interesting that someone made it - especially while making sure to check off all of the obvious NTR game tropes to really build that feeling for players - and am honestly curious as to what kind of audience this game would actually appeal to, really.

Like, obviously, I don't think it would appeal to NTR fans, since it basically just leaves out any of the actual sexual side of the NTR that they're looking for, and I doubt it's going to appeal to most vanilla fans, since generally they're not too fond of the emotional and psychological side of the NTR focused stuff just as much - if not more - than the sexual stuff. At least I know I've seen quite a few people more bothered by MCs dealing with LIs lying to them, dealing with unfounded jealousy, etc when there is no actual NTR involved in the game whatsoever fairly frequently.

I mean, I'm certainly not someone who can't appreciate conflict in my adult games. On the contrary, I quite enjoy some amount of conflict, or antagonist, or whatever. But something like this is quite a bit beyond what I would enjoy, and doesn't feel like something for the MC to overcome, but rather feels like something that overcomes the MC, but then is "made alright" in the end, which definitely isn't appealing to me, personally.

So it would be interesting to know what kind of person would be drawn to this, other than someone finding it humorous as a troll game against NTR fans that get the game without checking the tags, or get the game on Steam or somewhere that doesn't have tags listed, or whatever, and just expect based on the title and the description, that it's obviously an NTR game.
