Do you mind listening to atmospheric BM? This subgenre is easier to get into. Darkspace, Paysage D'hiver, Midnight Odyssey, Ethereal Shroud and many more.

Haven't heard of any of them so I took to old faithful (YouTube) & looked up a couple of those bands but I just couldn't get into them unfortunately. Just not for me.

I can and do literally listen to anything. I can go from Slipknot to Camila Cabello and then to Journey then make my way to Florida Georgia Line then to some 90's Rap. Literally anything and everything. Usually I pick depending on mood.
