Actually, the best way to ask this kind of questions is by writing a ticket. Because it goes directly to the mods and staff of the site.

That way you can also ask why specificly it was deleted, if "being off-topic" was the only explenation given.
Usually deleted posts don't have too much consequences, only if you do it repeatedly and the tone you use is agressive.
Some people get angry about deleted posts and get personal, calling them names and making accusations. Those will have consequences. But as your post is reather polite, this probably won't be an issue with you.
Regardles of this, you would always get a warning first, so you will know if something is up.
Also don't mind too much you not being a native english speaker, most of the users aren't either. I read through some of you posts and they all seem perfectly fine.
