In this show they cover everything the mcu has but better because they used every new York and beyond hero fantastic 4 shield defenders inhumans mutants quake bucky all the villains amazing show cancelled because of the dam popularity of the trash mcu.

Back in the 90s there was a Beavis and Butthead comic book for a bit. Instead of videos, like in the cartoon then, they looked at different comics. When looking at an X-Men one there were attractive female ones - then they were like "X-Men? Wait a minute - they used to be dudes!!!!"

I prefer DC overall, save for the bs of not killing, and I would say Barbara and Raven

Guess your taking about the new dc?

There was killing/darkness in the old dc like the death of joker by tim after the mind torture damien mas killer deal or the whole barbara abortion.

what about orphan aka Cassandra?

[MattShizzle]

Batman killed people in the Dark Knight version. IIRC one time Superman (accidentally) killed someone - it was someone very evil and he threw him off somewhere high to scare him. He meant to catch him before he went "splat" but missed.

Mostly yes, but I don't think you can call a random dead here and there, and those deaths being almost always major plot points as them not having the rule of not killing, what I was talking mostly was the main heroes from DC considering killing as some king degenerated thing that only monsters would, when the villains basically cause massacres, destroy the lives of millions, and they go "ye I will arrest -insert villain here- so he can escape and do everything again and again and again because I really care about the normal people and me just arresting them is totally making the normal population lives better"

The league in DC is really only impactful as a kind of interplanetary/interdimensional defense force, and their hypocrisy on the not killing working mostly only to humans is annoying.

Well to be fair amada should stop letting them go with those bombs in there head and once arrested they should be killed off remember atomic skull had been used many times as a power source alway's escaped. So yes they should kill more than they do sense they also kill aliens but in the end once a villian is arrested the court's/power to be should kill them off.

Or just let red hood batwoman use real bullets in there guns

As a kid I remember reading an issue of Warlock(Marvel cost was probably 20 to 25 cents back then in the early 70's.) I was horrified that he was not able to rescue a falling person. He had to pull up and fly away as all the people on the ground were shown crying and in horror at what happened in front of them. Later on letting Captain Marvel die of cancer. (The original male one.) Thunderbird dying in the first issue of the new X-men as the reboot started. Then Phoenix/Marvel Girl. Takes some balls to pitch this stuff and then put out the finished product. Goofy DC issues were fun. I still remember when the Justice League played baseball against the villains. Just blabbering....

Sadly, I stopped reading comic books before Deadpool was introduced. Waiting to see how a Mutant reboot in the MCU will be handled.

Horrifically the mcu has been around sense the hulk back in 2006 as far as cannon goes but when Disney took over they rebooted stories replaced actors then took source material and tossed it out like hawkeye he is more than some guy with arrows FFS.

The actors from the xmen moves that was started by david hayter are to old and or being miss used the new wolverine for instance is supposed to be in the mcu but from another earth really?

Then you got wonda but not her father or the brotherhood/genotia

The entire mcu is littered with garbage back stories characters done horribly and entire stuff laid out like i said before with the kree but all tossed out. I mean they are leaning on ssamuel l jackson as a main future star like disney the guy is getting into his 80's but they want another 10yrs of action from him?.

Disney has lost billions on star wars fired everyone that knew anything about it continue to burn billions like that entire them park that lasted one year i expect the same with the mutant mcu.

Heck did you see they canceled blade again? even ms marvel had to get new powers they totaled anything from that character.

True, but you have to consider the drama that would issue between the heroes and the court if the court killed them, especially if they were Batman villains more so if it was Joker, I think it could even end up with the heroes wanting to "save" the villains and maintaining all of them themselves

[lcarrow]

Never been a comic person so preference is limited to movies which Marvel has been far and away been better, at least up until End Game

Well it has happened before here is a cameo about magpie in another dc film

Also joker has died in the past like the arkham games so maybe some drama but i do not see a big fuss from the JLA

Jubilee from x-men was one of my og crushes as a child, Rogue (from animated series) as well. More currently: since Spiderman's girlfriend isn't a superhero (rawr) and doesn't count, I liked little X23 in Logan and adult X23 in Deadpool & Wolverine.
Actually strange all of them, over time, have been x-men...
So Marvel it is, I guess

[safrinho]

DC couldn't catch with MCU, so its Marvel all the way

[Deleted member 123057]

DC just for Batman and Superman. Although mostly batman if I'm being honest

[User_124028]

It totally depends on iterations. Animated DC from 90s-early 2000s is miles above anything Marvel ever did imo. But when it comes to modern liveaction films Marvel wins by a mile, the exception being practically any Batman film, which almost always are saved by having some of the most talented directots in Hollywood making them.

All to say.. I dont think you can choose one defintively over the other.

I mean the drama if the government decided to kill all the villains that were too dangerous, and I know villains died before, but I don't think there is a plot point where the heroes decide that most villains are irredeemable and need to be killed, or at the very least they understand that the way of incarceration they are doing does not work

[spartanmnl]

ive never really got into dc, maybe because my older brother like marvel so that was shoved down my throat my whole life but ima have to go with marvel
