For Marvel Disney has ruined the comics and films. DC can't make a movie that is a part of an extended universe that doesn't flop or fall short of expectations.

I always thought that the DC Universe had characters that were too strong. It always left me thinking that their struggle was stupid because they're so strong that the only way anyone can have a chance of fighting them is with a cheap gimmick like Kryptonite with Superman. Marvel has some great characters though, much better IMO.

Never got too into Marvel comics but the MCU I was mad into until the end of the infinity saga. DC comics I got super into but DCMU sucked.
As for the females DC would have to be Black Canary. Marvel would have to be Emma Frost.

Dark Horse comics are better in my opinion as both DC and Marvel have gone downhill in the last twenty-years.

I loved reading Y: The Last Man and all the StarWar sagas of the future and past.

I got into the MCU and then my fandom died after the end of Avengers Endgame. DC movie have been disappointing to say the least. I always thought DC>Marvel when I was younger but that never played out in the movies lol

I thought Thanos was rendered well but a lot of their other effects come off as video gamey.
