NameError: name 'ch08_fucked_cas' is not defined

I started from ch8 again as save was incompatible.

They're not separate files. Ch9 includes Ch1-8. At some point, the dev might break it into separate parts, but hasn't so far.

Dev's really need to stop doing this changing variables or remaking parts of their games breaking saves, because eventually i just drop said game.
