Hi all! I'm an amateur dev working on a furry cub game called Cubsitting Simulator.

TL;DR: You're watching a cheetah girl called Lola, and gradually corrupt her and her neighbourhood friends into more and more lewd scenarios.

Now I encountered a translation of CSS into Spanish, and got quite giddy someone liked it enough to translate. ...Until I found out the link that was provided was basically impossible to download, so probably a scam.
Anyway, from that point on I started playing with the idea of Cubsitting Simulator translations.

Therefore this request:

What do I need?

Someone willing to correct MTL into a language of their choice. Bonus points if Spanish, Simplified Chinese, or French. I'd prefer email contact, but I'm sure we can work something out.
Fair warning: There's quite a variety of fetish material in the game and one of the 5 main LI's is a boy, so it would be best if you'd be willing to translate a bit of gay content even if you're not gay (for instance). But if you don't want to / it makes you uncomfortable, just let me know which kind of content you'd rather not translate and I'll try find someone else for that part. I'm grateful for any help I get, so I won't complain about you setting boundaries on your help.

How much time commitment is required?

Just what suits you. I'm developing 0.5.0, which is going to take ages to finish, and if you don't have the time anymore I can always take a look if anyone else is interested in continuing where you left off.

What do you get?

For one, my eternal gratitude.
A bit more concrete: Your name will be listed in the credits, you'll get a shoutout in the main post every time I make a new version, and if there's a scene you'd really want to see added to CSS I'd do my best to include it (not scat,vore,inflation,mpreg, etc). There won't be monetary compensation, 'cause I am not earning anything from CSS, and judging from the TOS of patreon, subscribestar and unifans that's not going to change in the future

What skills do you need?

- You'll need to pick up very basic git knowledge. Get changes from a central point, commit your changes, push your changes to the central point, nothing more fancy than that. Obviously I'd be helping you set it up.

- You'll need to download the Ren'Py SDK and learn how to jump to specific scenes so you can test your changes. We'll be working on a version with sanitized images (all images of nude cubs will be replaced with their clothed counterparts) due to circumstances, but that wouldn't impact the translation proces itself. When it's time for release I'll just copy all translation to the non-sanitized version.

- Relative fluency in the language you're translating to. I'll be providing MTL hopefully to save you some time, but I can't make any guarantee about the quality.

- Extremely rudementary coding skills. Basically, some characters have a dynamic gender, so some sentences might look something like "[char._They] looked outside, and straightened [char._their] [char._dress]", which would get automatically changed into "She looked outside, and straightened her dress" or "He looked outside, and straightened his clothes" depending on the chosen gender of 'char'. Similarly there are some functions for plural / singular variations. If your chosen language also has gendered features, we'd have to discuss a bit how to best implement it. Obviously I'd also be helping with this part.

I thought 0.4.14 would be the final version?
I like working on CSS too much, so no, not going to be the final version! I just can't make any promises when 0.5.0 will come out.

I created a MTL multilingual support patch for Cubsitting Simulator as a proof of concept.

To play the translated version, you have to download two files from my mega drive (

- CubsittingSimulator-0.4.14-pc.zip, unpack this first in your desired location.
- cubsitting_simulator_0.4.14.mtl.patch.zip, put the files from this zip over the files from the previous zip. It should ask you if you're sure you want to replace the files, say yes.

I'm very curious about the opinions of the quality of the MTL, if it's reasonably bad or complete trash.
If someone is willing to correct the MTL, I've included the files that need translation as a zip.

They're basically all files with the English sentence first, and the translated version second:

I found a volunteer to correct the Spanish MTL, but if there are volunteers for the French / Chinese / German, I'd be very grateful ^^ If you've corrected a file, you can just leave a post with the corrected file as an attachment and I'll make sure to include it in the patch.

I am French so I can contribute for the French one. I am also a professional developer (not on games, though), so I can handle git and other stuff if required. Also has significant JAP-FR translation experience from translating anime in the past, especially comedy which requires a lot of effort to keep the length (reading time constraint), maintain as mush info as possible, use proper adaptation to the target language without deteriorating the initial content, and keep a sense of quality by heavily relying on synonyms and equivalent sentences (JAP sentences are short, quite the challenge).

I like a lot the game but feel frustrated to have so few images for the scenes. Hopefully more will be added in the future.

I saw on Inkbunny that you use git. I can use that and make PRs to ease the sharing.

I already passed through the smallest files and the MTL is... quite bad for French. Mostly understandable, but clunky, obviously MTL, and some parts just completely wrong, making the text confusing. So better than nothing, but definitely needs curation.
