Light of my life is excellent, it's a slow burn to work up both relationships but as others have already pointed out it's a sweet story. The art style grew on me over time as well.

Great storytelling and writing from Naughty Road. I only have one nitpick. I just wish it were fully animated (atleast for the steamy scenes ). Something like Heart Problems from Xenorav. That would definitely take it over the top.

I'm a total sucker for a good love story! Light of My Life is a masterpiece – that slow burn is perfection, and the payoff is so worth it. I loved how the art style evolved, it really added to the emotional depth. Such a sweet and tender tale, totally hooked me from start to finish. The train scene with the mom dream sequence was a tear jerker

Dev is active on Fuck95. I just looked at the last few pages. It seems his mom has recently died of cancer and his wife is ill (not terminally). He is also working on a demo for his next game called "The Velan Reach" before he works on Chapter 10 of Light of my Life. It seems that this game is coming to an end and that the last few chapters will be shorter like Chapter 9 was, to fulfill any promises made and to wrap things up.

im not sure about that.
his standard update time was 1/year
meaning if in update was october 2024, next update should be expected sept - nov 2025.
yea last update was quicker, about 1/2 a year time and shorter. and I dont think he is doing this game for money, but to kill his free time. this game is for free.
also this is approx where he stands with mentioned demo. after which he goes to light on my life. this is from 28.8.
but yes in light of my life, he already married his daughters, and is going for baby with both. .... so I think once they get pregnant and give birth its over. so its not that far away.


so yes, if something terrible happened, to him add a month or two to next update.

I'm still surprised by how much the models grew on me, I was put of at first but couldn't stop and came to really like the models, not the usual kind in these kind of games

Honestly as first I hated the ugly daughters but the they grew on me the more I played.

The story keeps you intrigued and it's littered with humor that makes you laugh.

The last ending was a cliffhanger though and can't wait to see what happens next.
