I remember the controversy over the art style on the stories initial release. That alone made me want to check it out and read for myself and I'm glad I did. The writing is excellent and I love the two main girls and their personalities. Though Naughty Road only updates once or twice a year each one is lengthy and has meaningful story progression. That ritual part with Sarah Zarah and Sierra was wild!

Now, I do have to say that I was a bit late to the party with LomL. I admit that I was a bit put off by the art style at first, but I kept hearing great things about it. So, I decided to give it a try. The positive word of mouth was well deserved! The story telling was rich and the character were well fleshed out. I also liked that the lewd scenes didn't really happen till later in the story. Now, I do have 2 complaints but they are just my opinions. One, the story could get VERY wordy. It felt like it kept going on and on about the same subject at the moment. Two, the MC felt a little... wooden. It was like he was just there for the ride and nothing more. I'll be honest, these 2 things didn't take away from how great the story is, and I'm going to continue to look forward to each update (whenever they by chance drop).

I too love a slow burn in the stories I read. As regards to the the story being very "wordy" at times, I can agree. The latest update in particular felt that way. Glad I'm not the only one who noticed this. The parts where they go out dancing and get married to MC were pretty good though.

It's a slow grind, but it really gives the characters a slow and steady progression. More believable than almost any other game I've tried.

And with the amount of time between each update you can probably load - click - save once per day and finish before the new update. Or just hold ctrl to get to the really good parts!

The psychological nuances are beautifully described, looking quite authentic and motivational. The dialogues and character traits are excellently written, giving the impression that a professional screenwriter is behind the game. Best game i played so far.

I don't mind slow burn games when they have good writing and this one certainly manages to keep my interest going, the art style is certainly quite unique from the other ones I have seen and I hope the developer keeps on working on this as I am looking forward to enjoying more of this.

It's good to play a game that looks different than everything else out there. It took me a while to get used to the models but the story and writing definitely makes up for the choice.

dam i hated this game in the begging cuz of the visauls. but it has grown on me. it a different look took me a sec to start to like it. now i await every update

It might be, because they are just so different from what we usually get, it's usually a blonde bimbo or an emo chick with tats. These characters just look different. I personally like the characters, but to each their own.

I understand those models aren't for everybody but that was what got me in this game, and boy, it is excellent. The story (those sensuality chapters) is above the norm.
And it is nice to get away from the bimbo form so prevalent. Even the faces are a welcome sight. You come across so many games with the same models if you fap a lot (I do) that when something's new, it draws attention.

The art style is certainly unique, but never bothered me, as the story, scenes, and renders are fantastic. I'd definitely recommend it to other people.
