Latest Updates, Game Sections, Shop Fixes, and Current Site Work​

Hey everyone,

I wanted to give a quick update on what has been going on and what I will be working on next.

I took a few days away from site fixes and updates due to some personal stuff involving a recent breakup. I am not going to go too deep into that here, but I wanted to be honest about why things slowed down for a few days.

I am back to working on the site now.

Latest Updates Page

I will be working on restoring parts of the main Latest Updates page here:

https://lewdcorner.com/latest-updates.php

The goal is to bring back the parts that were removed, broken, or changed too heavily, while also cleaning up the layout so it is easier to use.

/Games and Game Section Latest Updates View

I will also be fixing and restoring the addon that controls the Latest Updates view inside /games and the other game-related sections of the forum.

That system needs to properly show true latest game updates, not random replies, bumps, or normal thread activity.

The goal is for the game sections to show actual updated game content first, instead of making it look like something was updated just because someone replied to a thread.

This is separate from the main Latest Updates page restoration.

Shop Fixes

The shop is also bugged right now, so I will be working on that today as well.

This includes fixing broken behavior, cleaning up parts that are confusing, and restoring anything important that should not have been removed.

Other Fixes

I will also be going through other things people have complained about recently.

This includes layout issues, confusing systems, broken pages, and anything that feels overcomplicated or unfinished.

Some of the recent changes made parts of the site harder to understand, and I agree with a lot of the feedback.

The goal is to make things cleaner, more usable, and less chaotic.

Multiple Currency / Credits

As for the multiple currency idea with credits, I am still not fully sure what direction to take with that yet.

For now, I will most likely keep the credit system how it currently is until there is a better plan.

I do not want to rush a currency change and end up making the economy worse or more confusing for everyone.

What I Am Working On Now

• Restoring parts of the main Latest Updates page
• Fixing the Latest Updates view inside /games and other game-related sections
• Making game sections show real game updates instead of replies or bumps
• Fixing the bugged shop
• Cleaning up confusing layouts and broken areas
• Reviewing recent complaints and fixing what I can
• Leaving the current credit/currency setup alone for now

Thanks to everyone who has been patient and has been giving actual feedback.

I know some systems have been messy lately, and I am going to start cleaning things up again.

More fixes will be worked on today.

Great to see updates on this sort of thing! Love when there is great communication. I'm curious if for the currency it could be something that a thread or poll is created for to get ideas from others and that gives time so its not rushed like you said.

Also, sorry to hear about the breakup. We've all been there and understand how shitty that can be. Hope you're finding outlets for self-care and to process things (other than pouring yourself into working on the site, that is).

Yeah, I appreciate that. I’m not trying to bury everything in site work forever, but lifting has been helping a lot. Been weightlifting daily and trying to build a no-steroid Arnold-type body lol. Turning the breakup into something useful instead of just sitting in it.

Hola a todos,

Quería darles una breve actualización sobre lo que ha estado sucediendo y en qué trabajaré próximamente.

Me tomé unos días de descanso de las correcciones y actualizaciones del sitio web debido a asuntos personales relacionados con una ruptura reciente. No voy a entrar en muchos detalles aquí, pero quería ser sincero sobre por qué las cosas se ralentizaron durante esos días.

Ya he vuelto a trabajar en la página web.

Página de últimas actualizaciones

Estaré trabajando en la restauración de partes de la página principal de Últimas Actualizaciones aquí:

El objetivo es recuperar las partes que se eliminaron, se rompieron o se modificaron demasiado, al tiempo que se simplifica el diseño para que sea más fácil de usar.

/Ver últimas actualizaciones de la sección de juegos

También arreglaré y restauraré el complemento que controla la vista de Últimas Actualizaciones dentro de /games y las demás secciones del foro relacionadas con los juegos.

Ese sistema debe mostrar correctamente las últimas actualizaciones del juego , no respuestas aleatorias, interrupciones o actividad normal del hilo de conversación.

El objetivo es que las secciones de juegos muestren primero el contenido actualizado real del juego, en lugar de dar la impresión de que algo se actualizó solo porque alguien respondió a un hilo.

Esto es independiente de la restauración de la página principal de Últimas Actualizaciones.

Reparaciones de la tienda

La tienda también tiene fallos ahora mismo, así que hoy también estaré trabajando en ello.

Esto incluye corregir comportamientos defectuosos, limpiar partes que resultan confusas y restaurar cualquier elemento importante que no debería haberse eliminado.

Otras soluciones

También repasaré otras cosas de las que la gente se ha quejado últimamente.

Esto incluye problemas de maquetación, sistemas confusos, páginas rotas y cualquier cosa que parezca demasiado complicada o inacabada.

Algunos de los cambios recientes han hecho que ciertas partes del sitio sean más difíciles de entender, y estoy de acuerdo con muchos de los comentarios.

El objetivo es lograr que las cosas sean más limpias, más prácticas y menos caóticas.

Múltiples divisas/créditos

En cuanto a la idea de las múltiples monedas con créditos, todavía no estoy del todo seguro de qué dirección tomar al respecto.

Por ahora, lo más probable es que mantenga el sistema de crédito como está actualmente hasta que haya un plan mejor.

No quiero precipitar un cambio de moneda y acabar empeorando la economía o generando más confusión para todos.

En qué estoy trabajando ahora

• Restaurando partes de la página principal de Últimas actualizaciones.
• Solucionar el problema de la vista de Últimas actualizaciones dentro de /juegos y otras secciones relacionadas con juegos.
• Hacer que las secciones del juego muestren actualizaciones reales del juego en lugar de respuestas o notificaciones.
• Reparando la tienda defectuosa
• Limpiar diseños confusos y áreas dañadas
• Revisar las quejas recientes y solucionar lo que pueda
• Por ahora, dejaremos la configuración actual de crédito/divisa sin cambios.

The truth is, the changes became noticeable, or maybe I just adapted or got used to the forum format. At first, I didn't understand anything, but now it's all sorted out and very easy to understand and navigate.
